  1. Well, in just a few days Pufferfish and I will be hauling our butts to FSMP then trek'n 15 minutes up the road to Family Kingdom for a day at Myrtle beach. Also Coasterlvr_nc will possibly be joining us. We will have a full photo trip report once we get back.
  2. Great find, that is hilarious. I actually choked on my glass of coke laughing so hard.
  3. You forgot to ride Drop Tower. It was freakin cool hanging out with you and the gang. Oh and guys how about the flyer take over ey?
  4. I really enjoyed being at the park with everyone. Being in the random group shot #1 was cool too. Robb told everyone to lift me up or grab my leg and it didn't work too well. I vote #8 because its just that darn funny!
  5. Well as I see the rides lot grow with every visit I can more than speculate two things. 1. Its going to be the worlds longest kiddie coaster! 2.Its going to host Mavericks inline twist!. LOL All joking aside, I am going to love what ever comes our way.
  6. Looks like you all are having a great time!. As of the Carowinds meet yesterday , I must say everyone is freaking awesome to hang out with, I had a blast myself!. OH and sorry your knotts platnium pass didn't get you discounts at the park Dan.
  7. Interesting fact , when you talk X-works. It also means the buyer is responsible for transport, also responsible for taxes and all exchanges between company and buyer. I can't believe I misplaced this fact during a convention. Perhaps it has relivance perhaps not but its interesting to maybe point out for the yellow track perhaps the buyer wanted to transport it themselves. X-works is a business term for self transportation of product. Bugatti uses the term alot on thier cars you can look at in a Bugatti/VW dealership.
  8. Am I the only one on here who thinks that actually looks dang good? I make improvised meals all the time and they come out just like that. I remember like a few weeks back making feta cheese pizza from scratch.
  9. Ah paradox resolved. Someone get a mop! Okay back on topic here. This is pretty awesome to see. The previous paramount chain parks getting some love.
  10. Yea the back row and second to back on Cyclone were insane. I actually can say I heard Andrew(pufferfish) scream about the coming out of the seat and through the seperator a bit. If it had any more force I'd have been all "WTF!" at seeing him in the seat NEXT to where he actually started. Sounds like you had as much fun as we did! All I can say for the few times I have been there so far is I am a proud "Acro-holic" .
  11. Well Pufferfish and I will be going if you want to meet up. Friday is going to be slightly crowded as children just got out of school a few weeks ago.
  12. Very decent layout , the only thing I disliked about it I felt was the bottom of the first drop, it turned slightly left for a split second like a car with an alignment issue. I did like the steep drop and helix though.
  13. With each update this park keeps getting better and better! Cavern blaster is really neat looking.
  14. LOL Never let that kids mom visit London. Women walk the street naked there for "art" purpose and among other things of course. Children are exposed to these things in middle school during computer class if they are given the internet for like 2 seconds. Atleast unlike a few select parks they returned her call, and actually took the posters down as asked, not many out there would due to "business it business".
  15. Okay so I started a park recently as you all know. Recently I had a PC crash and lost it so I have to start it over, I now have Linux Ubuntu. I hate it, and I don't have a windows back up disc. So I am kinda screwed out on this. I have RCT2 installed with linux and it uses WINE. I am having an issue though, when I initiate the program is gives me an error as if I tried to hack the game "Error exception raised" crap. It shuts down as soon as I start it. Does anyone know what I can do?
  16. Well in respect we got a fair amount of rides in when Me,Andrew and Collin went. I mean like 6 or so rides on Goliath, and at least 1-3 rides in on each coaster from 10:30AM-8:00PM. We buzzed through season pass processing like the snap of a finger. I also can also speak as to the fact I worked at SFGADV. I've never messed around as an employee there. I worked my butt off and was actually happy there. 2 key points I remember were, Nitro Crew rolling 38 trains during 3 train op without stacking. Also when Kingda Ka crew beat Intamin's spec of 1550 people per hour , they hit 1558. I also worked at Carowinds on several major attractions and never had any problems.
  17. I agree a few did suprise me. Though some like on Mind Bender were idiots. "Ya'll can bring your camera and film ON ride if you get atleast one pic of me on your update" moron.. Also yes, on Goliath they stacked several times. They have a train count for the hour and time between dispatch counter going for each cycle. That thing was showing they were doing poorly but hey we did ride at least.
  18. This park honestly keeps looking better and better every time I see it. The progression works out so nicely.
  19. Of course MillenniumCP, my old supervisor lol from the batman crew before he moved on to become GADV's Flash walk around hero. Looks like you all had a great time.
  20. Your welcome Nathan. Now onto a bit of interesting news, If your in the local area and would like to attend SFOG on the 28th let us know, we can try to meet up.
  21. Try this for yourselves! http://www.terminateyourself.com
  22. Collin, it wasn't your fault. Your parents were the stopper here. You still have a chance to go with us to SFOG next week. We had a great time, I kinda tried to call you right before I got on Mystery Mine. More Photos! Okay one thing about the last shot here. The brakes are hilarious. I think when they made this coaster they had trains in mind because it chugs through them. "Chugga pop chugga pop..chugga pop!" it was funny and cool!
  23. Yea listen to my friend Collin, if he says no it means no lol. If you take cameras in lock out or in restricted areas, even on ride it is grounds for termination, and in GP case ejection.
  24. Oh the tick's not such a big deal I guess for the times, but the ride audio when your going through the transfer track area is suppose to simulate a tornado. Its not loud enough it just sounds like a gentle breeze blowing through. The train slowly goes through and you hear the woooosh but with as elaborately themed as all the rides are this one just felt like it was put in. The ride is great! don't get me wrong its just I wish that part was made better than just passing by the transfer tracks hearing "wooshhh ffffff woosshh" I guess thats okay though being as the rides main focal point is extreme G forces and it delivers ten fold!
  25. So I finally got my butt out to Dollywood after many years of missing out. Pufferfish (andrew) and I decided to start planning road trips not to long ago and figured this would be a good idea to test run. I had gotten up at around 4:00AM and gotten ready, keep in mind its about a 4 hour drive from where I live. I got my wife out of bed and then we were waiting on one other another friend of ours. After Andrew arrived we waited a bit and had to blow up the other's phone to wake him up, as we expected delays due to rush hour and construction on I26 and I40. Thankfully none happened. So we started our journey with a winding road path through the mountains and such down major highways.. The directions printed on paper were so funky at times. We kept having near the end to look for ONE street and it never showed up till we put on the GPS. We finally find the park and are guided to the parking area which wraps around the area quite nicely. We got B lot and they go from A-F. Once parked we had paid $8 for that, not to bad. We all decided why not warm up the morning with Thunderhead, I had a set of expectations for Thunderhead when I got on it after riding Lightnin'Racer at HP. Now here's where the trouble comes in. I can't debate on this ride which is better front or back seat. I'm so at ends with it. The front on most rides is just for view but you get extreme speed and air time on both ends of this thing. Its relentless! Especially great for days like this, No lines or crowds. So we got a few rides on that and figured Mystery Mines in the area. This ride has such a great theme. This was the only line of the day. I'd say about 5-20 minutes because of stacking but not bad at all. The shopping and walking around alone can be an experience but keeping with the rides everything is so excellent. When we headed over to Tennessee Tornado though my friend didn't fit on it so he had to wait for us in the exit. Now this is the only ride I have a slight tick about. Its a great ride ! Insane Gs to be had! We hit up Blazing fury later in the day , let me say this though for as old as the ride is It still has a great experience. This ride is a combo of alot of experiences. It will get you wet though its not Dan friendly. I miss Thunder Express! After all the riding we decided to hit up Mountain Slidewinder. Such a trek up the hill side for this ride and warning as Andrew will vouch for me DO NOT sit in the back seat you get soaked. I love the ride though I kept sitting up front I got soaked either way!. Same with Dare Devil Falls. Back seat though on this you stay dry! I sat in front and um..I collected 40 pounds of water after the the lift hill. The front of the boat dips down into the water with force. Warning to all who want to keep their ears though the saw is LOUD. We hit up a few more rides and watched Splash battle for a bit at this point. We also had the worlds most awesome thing. Cinnamon bread! We had Lunch just after . By this time my friend who trek'd out from Virginia was in PF though he had gotten lost we met him after his 8 hour journey. He was afraid of inversions before this trip too. We soon knocked that fear out of him. At Dinner this lady made him adorn a chicken outfit and dance for 8 minutes or so around in the suit , she even spoke to his mother on his cell phone . Over all a great day 10AM-7PM the best staff I've ever seen that also included ERT on Thunderhead we got the last trains of the night. Now On to the photos! The on ride picture has a back story to it also. Andrew was going for a dead drunker look and I actually was just being myself I slammed my arm into him accidentally. I went to throw my arm up and grab his for a victory shot and the forces pulled my arm down interlocking us. It was weird but we had such a laugh at it!. That ride has freakin forces! Oh another running thing yesterday was the ride op on Mystery Mine. right as we started going he some how managed to get me snapping my fingers and singing "dum dum dumdum dummmmm dum beee dooby dum!" what ever the heck that song is the tune was stuck in my head the whole rest of the day So right about here the girl in the back seat pee'd herself. She actually screamed "MOMMY!" lol! If your not wet by this point of the ride you don't know what water is. So a member here kept asking me for a pic of Dolly..so here you go KUMBA830! here is your side-dolly-parton-boob credit. Some rides there are so well hidden until your right on top of them! Through the trees! This ride now has a running joke with Andrew and I. "Dang Beevuh gonna kill ya!" NO wonder this got Golden Tickets! This place is awesome! Andrew and I's last ride on ThunderHead! Group from Left to right. Me! my wife Kelly. PufferFish, Sean, Spike.
