  1. I think some stuff they don't want you to see, ie government land, etc. is fuzzy. For example, I got bored one day and decided to zoom in a little and "drive" on I-15 all the way from Vegas to Los Angeles. Once you got out in the middle of nowhere (around Barstow), a LOT of stuff started to get fuzzy... who knows what kind of creepy stuff they have out in that desert! Makes you think when you're driving there at 3 AM. Anyways, Google Earth rules. -amanda
  2. ^obviously likes Stitch (sorry dude, I don't know that much about you)
  3. yeah. ouch... what a fire. It's weird walking into Bally's now and seeing the exact same place.
  4. My home park's SFMM. Um... and the best coaster, for me, would be a tie between Goliath and X.
  5. Yeah.... actually, the only one of those I've been on is on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas. You wanna talk S&S shot towers times infinity.... especially when they lift you up a little before it shoots. You have NO idea when the op is going to hit that button... I've been on the Big Shot about six times, and every time, I still scream when they shoot us up. What a rush. --Amanda PS: I'm still trying to work up the courage (and money) to do a Skycoaster. X was bad enough, but those look worse.
  6. OK. I was going to put this in my other thread but it didn't fit well. Waiting more than a half an hour for a water ride sucks. Especially now, at Magic Mountain. How the heck do people do it? I mean, 4 hours for Roaring Rapids? And, I mean, that doesn't even freaking count now, because they're building Tatsu. This should be good, but it's not. Because all the stupid people that know Roaring Rapids is closed make "JetStreamArrowheadSplashdown" into a 2 hour wait. Log Jammer is almost as bad. I can't imagine it in the summer when hot people walk in and it's one of the first things you see... but there was even like an hour wait the last time I was there. Which sucks, because I love log rides and it bums me out when I can't ride them. Another thing with Tatsu construction: they closed off the Rapids midway. And stupid Orient Express is closed. So the only freaking way to get to 2 awesome rides, Ninja and Superman, is to walk ALL THE F'ING WAY around the park and hike up Samurai Summit. That sucks too, especially if you decide to wait the 2 hours in the morning to ride X and then have to waste 10 or 15 minutes going all the way back around. Arrgh. I want this coaster more than pretty much anything, but it makes my log ride wait longer and makes maneuvering around SFMM really usually annoying and sometimes hard.
  7. IIRC, I waited somewhere around 2 hours once for Double Loop at Geauga Lake. I mean, it's a fun ride, but never again will I wait 2 hours for a 90 second ride. Also, they're not coasters, but waiting anywhere longer than half an hour for a flume/rapids ride is ridiculous.
  8. I think it was the same as my first coaster... again, the corkscrew at Geauga Lake.
  9. OK, this is sad. Six Flags Magic Mountain Geauga Lake Adventuredome The stuff on top of the Stratosphere And when I was little (4 or 5), I think I went to Cedar Point. And Conneaut Lake Park. That would be it.
  10. Did better on this one, fifteen! Yay! I did note a missing coaster though, Head Spin (formerly Mind Eraser) at Geauga Lake... emailed it in so technically, 16. -Amanda
  11. True... I always like riding Gold Rusher, Log Jammer, Jet Stream, Ninja, etc. when it's crowded or I'm bored due to the fact that they're simply just nice, fun terrain rides. It's cool to go up in the middle of the mountain where there's nothing but trees and stuff. And if Tatsu's like that... and a coaster to boot... laying on your stomach, occasionally looking face down on the rest of the park...then who needs Gs? It'll be awesome. -amanda
  12. Stop... you guys are making me drool! I'd kill to go to Vegas right now! Anyways, thanks for the pictures and have fun!
  13. Eagle Coaster (If one more person ends with an e, r, or i....) -Amanda
  14. I was recently thinking the exact same thing. I used to live minutes from Wyandot Lake, and the Zoo was pretty popular in that area. They even share the same parking lot, it would seem like something SF would consider. I personally wouldn't want to see this happen, unless they saved the coaster. I think Cedar Fair is just taking their time to bring GL to their level. They certainly have different aspirations for the park than SF, but I don't think they want to do a sudden and total makeover of the park. No... I don't think it would be good for GL if that happened, either. It's pretty much stayed the same my whole life, with a few coaster and waterpark additions... if they did a major overhaul, I think it would turn off a lot of people. Like all parks, some of us grew up with GL and it would be sad to see any major changes. -Amanda
  15. yaaah... stupid double posting. Yeah, it's a Home Depot with built in McDonalds, CVS/Walgreens (there's so many in Cleveland I'm surprised they haven't merged yet), and.... um.... A Taco Bell/KFC/Pizza Hut/Long John Silver's.
