  1. Didn't Apollo's Chariot drop from #3 in 2010 to #6 this year?
  2. In fairness, when I was looking at the KI website's description of the ride last year before it opened, the wording was really confusing, and made it sound like it did drop. They were trying to compare it to Drop Tower, and I could see how that person may have misinterpreted it. Then again, they changed the description since then, so maybe the person was just being dumb. I saw that too, I was just laughing because part of the description was a copy & paste from the Drop Tower description.
  3. I doubt this. Demon always has good attendance and without there is no more coasters from 1976 in the park, there would be only 6 coasters, there would be as many removed coasters as there are present, and Michigan's Adventure would beat CGA in coaster count. I hope it doesn't happen since Demon is a classic and my first coaster with an inversion and my first coaster over 100'. If they do remove Demon, they should build Maverick v2, WindSeeker, & the GCI coaster to make me happy.
  4. Darien Lake taking down Ride of Steel and replacing it with a Morgan Hyper. What's worse than Snoopy opening his present in Cedar Point that he has every year only that when he opens it scorpions come out and kill everyone in the audience?
  5. For some reason, after visiting Legoland California, I had at least 6 dreams of it weeks later. Also, I used to have the power to wake myself up during dreams and have some control over what I do in dreams. Sadly, I lost the "power".
  6. Though, SFMM doesn't care about coaster enthusiasts because we're only a small percentage of park attendance and we try to spend the least amount of money. SFMM wants teenagers who would spend $100 on food (true fact). A giga would make the GP think of a "bigger Goliath" while a dive machine is very unique and can be record breaking. How about this: a Giga Dive Machine. Tallest Dive Machine, Fastest Dive Machine, and First of its kind in the West Coast. The GP doesn't care about length, they care about thrills.
  7. Whatever larger crowds they get for the event are likely to be offset by people in the know staying away from the park for a Latina event. The problem won't be crowds but the increase in bad seeds that will be attracted to the event to celebrate their "heritage" by breaking rules and displaying a mob mentality. Disclaimer: This is not a racist comment as I would expect the same vibe at an Irish or Italian event in the park; two heritages I share. I agree with you. Plus, it's not a racist comment, it's more of a fact.
  8. Your break run is so long that McDonalds should build a franchise on it.
  9. I guess a dive machine would be the best bet because a giga, as stated before, would make no sense because of Goliath.
  10. I found the "2012 coaster" on BGW's website, though it really means nothing: www.buschgardens.com/bgw/explore/Rides.aspx?id=2170 The only important fact is it saids to go on their facebook.
  11. *Refreshing this page every 10 seconds*
  12. The same with me, it's after 8:00 and I'm trying to find it. EDIT: Found BGW's youtube account and no Verbolten announcements: www.youtube.com/user/BuschGardensVA?blend=7&ob=5#g/u
  13. Yes. Harry Potter. Are you signed up on over 10 roller coaster enthusiast websites?
  14. Step 1: Buy Cedar Fair Step 2: Build HUGE amusement park with 1000+ rides, Quintipling Dueling B&M Inverts, Awesome Dark rides, etc. Step 3: Live life the fullest
  15. I can't wait for the Verbolten announcement. I hope the announcement isn't that Verbolten was renamed Blitzen-Volt.
  16. Got it. Seriously, Hurricane Irene isn't that large of a hurricane, it makes no sense for a person who has common sense to believe Kingda Ka fell over. Though, if Kingda Ka did fall over, it would be an awesome Fright Fest attraction,"Kingda Fall".
  17. ^Was that dog in the same exhibit as the cheetah. I could see animal control coming in.
  18. OK, now I understand why they took it out, though it's just sad to see another classic Marriott ride taken out, it always seemed that Marriott's Great America seemed to be a spectacular park that was made for fun.
  19. Long break runs on Intamins are not new. Long break runs on B&Ms most definitely are.... especially when they're a good 50-100 ft in the air. Are you kidding me? Look at the Rid of steel and Superman at SFA brake run...BARELY long enough to fit the entire train on . Though I will admit Thunder Dolphin at Laqua's brakes are INSANELY tooo long. http://rcdb.com/699.htm?p=7101 Superman Ride of Steel, the brakes after the station are maybe 50 feet or less in length to the station. I am suprised in videos of Bizarro and the whole fleet of Superman hypers that how short they are, it's kind of scary when you think about it. Though where is the transfer track, it wouldn't be logical to have the switch track on the same track as the main brakes.
  20. ^I know what you mean that a wing ride would be out of place because of X2, though the 2 types of coasters are different enough.
  21. It's not dumb. It just shows what the coaster might look like. Plus it's a Paint.NET creation.
  22. I had a dream where I was fighting ninjas and was actually winning!
  23. I don't do anyhting, if there's an earthquake you run outside. That's all you do when you live in California.
