  1. At least there will be less lines on all the other rides if the line on Superman is extremely long.
  2. I think Six Flags will put a better name than Spinning Coaster, hopefully Though, Green Lantern will be one of the superheros with their own movie, then their movie loses popularity over the years, and they make a totally new one in 10 - 15 years, the Green Lantern in SFMM and SFGAdv was just named Green Lantern because of the movie, though Bizarro took its name on Superman and Medusa and Bizarro is way less known than the characters Superman and Medusa, so the coaster could be a lesser-known superhero.
  3. The same thing in Medusa, SFDK, the ride-ops start socializing with the people waiting in the Flash Pass line, and I get really enraged when I see that, and I think "COME ON! Just dispatch us! This is not the time for socializing." I really don't understand why they expect to have a laid-back job by being a ride-op, there are many other jobs in the park that you can socialize people, such as working in the games or arcade. This applies to almost any ride with lousy operations.
  4. I never experienced a really bad ride on Grizzly as the back seats in each car are rougher than the front seats, even the back seats of the car is smoother than Roar. I have been on Giant Dipper, and it is only relatively smooth in the front, if you go near the back, it bashes you around painfully, that is why I don't ride GD anymore since I can't pick my seats and I don't want to take chances on wasting my money on a really rough ride. I have been on Roar, NorCal's 3rd woodie and I just sit in the front because I don't even want to know how the back feels, and I personally enjoy Roar over Grizzly because Roar pushes you around, not too much, but enough to make it still in the fun category, though it is rough. Overall, Grizzly never has really rough rides, and I believe that the 2010-2011 off-season that they re-tracked the drop since the drop used to be the worst part of the ride because of how rough it was, though don't quote me on this, I just BELIEVE that they re-tracked it, I'm not 100% sure.
  5. I thought of another name for this coaster: Two Face - The Flip Side, it makes sense since the flipping of the coin and the spinning of the car. Plus, the name was only used once.
  6. That looks really good, though that pool is in an akward location, a small kids area can fit there easily.
  7. The colors I think should improve, maybe yellow track since pythons are yellow. Also, the 180 degree turns you have can be improved as they are all the same, maybe a small bump or overbank in it.
  8. Honestly, the 2013 coaster will be the GCI coaster, the permits are all in, the design is all in, the coaster is ready for construction, I would be shocked if it was something else. As for the waterpark ride, it may be a ProSlide Tornado or Bowl in the field in between Flight Deck's lake and Ripsnort Ridge/Screamin' Wombat.
  9. I think black track and red ties would look nice and fit the theme.
  10. No, they won't. 2 reasons: 1. They just re-tracked a huge portion of the coaster 2. Grizzly is much smoother than much rougher CF woodies (e.g. GhostRider, Mean Streak, Timber Wolf)
  11. Though, there is too many Green Lantern coasters, well 2 is enough, but a more creative name or a name used by a defunct attraction (e.g. X-Flight) would be nice like Joker's Revenge.
  12. Exactly. Wooden coasters cannot be relocated, plus Grizzzly isn't much of an asset that other parks want.
  13. http://www.sixflags.com/discoveryKingdom/events/LastChancePandemonium.aspx First, I would be going to SFDK on opening weekend, though they are going to build the coaster in less than 4 months? Though, I am going to go in the drawing, and if I win, I can bring both of my friends.
  14. As much as everyone hates Grizzly, it isn't going anywhere as it is one of the most popular rides in the park and wooden coasters are extremely hard to move somewhere else. I think that a coaster can be built without destroying a coaster as CGA does not need another coaster removal.
  15. Isn't Pandemonium being moved for Superman?
  16. The 2012 wooden coaster supposedly is going to be named Wodan!?!? From Screamscape:
  17. We all know about Pandemonium is leaving SFDK, though on Screamscape, this was just posted: It seems that Pandemonium is going to SFM and themed as the Joker, remember this is still a rumor, NOT an announcement, your thoughts? Also, Pandemonium moving to SFM is also a RUMOR.
  18. Dragon Khan looks so much better with that red paint than that ugly orange. It's odd how red paint turns orange, you would think it would turn pink like Xcelerator.
  19. I don't expect it to be painful since we are taling about the '90s restraints and there has to be some progress in the last ten years. Look at Vekoma's SLC restraints between the new and the old. Sure, these restraints can be extremely painful, but I don't expect Premier to make the same restraints that they (hopefully) know is horrible.
  20. I really enjoyed the Double Shot at SCBB, I just really enjoy launching coasters and rides and this being my only "launching ride", it really impressed me and the boardwalk atmosphere really made it very impressive. Double Shot is the only ride in SCBB that I can do a marathon (or Giant Dipper in the front seat). Also, I was impressed by Spongebob's Boatmobiles (PEANUTS Pirates) in CGA as I never expected a kiddie ride to be that much fun. I thought it was genius to make the ride slow down and speed up during the ride with the illusion that the ride ended and then it speeds up and whips you in a dizzying revolution. Though, my favorite flat ride is Double Shot.
  21. Good, at least your brain is working properly.
  22. Timber Wolf will not get a Rocky Mtn. remodeling, WoF would be lucky just to have topper track to go on Timber Wolf.
  23. No, I think it was a Motel 6
  24. Why bother waiting? A few weeks ago, I saw the 2-hour line and I refused to go on it with that wait.
  25. Let's not forget that they also removed many rides while offering no replacements & when there weren't that many new rides being added over a span of ten years removing the precious few remaining rides without replacement gives people in the region even less of a reason to visit than if those rides had remained & recieved proper maintenance to keep them in operating condition. Sounds just like CGA.
