  1. Six Flags Great America will get a giga soon. Why, out of all of the three major Six Flags parks (SFMM, SFGADv, SFGAm), SFGAm is the only one without a coaster taller than 300'. The station would be on the Iron Wolf location and an overbanked turn would be next to the Rapids and that Theater (forgot it's name, though it's the Showtime Theater in CGA)
  2. The GP is NOT a myth. The General Public are normal park-goers without the experience and especially the knowledge of theme parks. MOST (not all) General Public are individuals that know about theme parks but often get confused with statistics, where coasters are, etc. Such as yesterday I was in CGA, I was talking to a group of GP and they thought the Matterhorn & Big Thunder Mtn. WAS in CGA and was torn down. It is stupid to say that if you are an enthusiast though with the GP, you just accept that. Though, most GP know about the theme parks they go to very well, they don't know how tall the coasters or who manufactured them, though they know the basics such as Vortex being a coaster where they stand up on and Flight Deck being a coaster that your feet dangle on. They don't know the terms inverted or stand-up but they basically know what they are such as people comparing SLCs and B&M Inverts, at least they know both of them your feet dangle. Then, there is the bad GP where they don't care what you say, think they are coaster enthusiasts, think that rides will kill you, back up their confusion for eternity, etc. Though, I bet they act the same in real life and thankfully there are more good GP than bad GP.
  3. I agree, I think that Leviathan will probably be one of the best B&M hypers/gigas, though I don't see it comparing it to Bizarro, Expedition GeForce, Millennium Force, or Intimidator 305. It seems Intamin hypers/gigas are a totally different genre since they have much more intensity. I think Leviathan should be well into the Top 20 Steel Coasters, but it won't be close to be comparing with the high-scoring Intamins.
  4. Sorry, I have to go now, so good luck for everyone else!
  5. River King Mine Train at Six Flags St. Louis?
  6. Big Bad John at Magic Springs?
  7. Dragon at Legoland California?
  8. Was the coaster built in the 2000s?
  9. Is the coaster in a chain park?
  10. In North or South America? (This is a yes or no question)
  11. In SFDK, during the Shouka show, the killer whale splashed this one woman that got enraged and stormed off. Didn't she know that the front is the splash zone? 700th post!
  12. Good job, never would've thought of that
  13. Is it located in the Northern Hemisphere?
  14. I'm going to CGA tomorrow just because it might be my last time for many years since I have a 2012 SFDK season pass. About the name change, I think there is no reason to re-name the park. Just calling it Great America would confuse people with the one in Illinois.
  15. This is going to horrible if they take out Log Jammer, the ride is one of the best non-thrill rides in the park and is a classic attraction. Why couldn't they take out the amphitheater and use that side of the mountain for their new ride. Plus, why can't they build over the Log Jammer like Ninja & Jet Stream?
