1.) The capacity issues were in 1991 before the conversion took place- which was not too much longer in the future for Revolution. 2.) Revolution still draws enough of a crowd for capacity to matter: She might be old, she might be rusted, but she still packs quite a whollop for a ride of it's age. Mind you, she might not be as popular as in 75, but I know that's the first ride I'll head to at MM to this day... 3.) Gerstlauers new trains are still prototypes- and only two have been built for HersheyPark. If they are successful, I could see them selling well. The average lifespan of a Schwarzkopf MK2a or Mk2B train is about 30-35 years... and even with overhauls, the ride itself will need new trains in the future. Getting new trains is a good start, I think- but if they DO go to the new Gerstlauer trains, I can only hope they will opt for eliminating those nasty OTSRs. Well, 30 - 35 years is pretty long. Most coasters built 30 years ago don't have the original trains.(e.g. Colossus, SFMM)

That Iceploration show looks as good as a Cirque de Soleil show.

I always feel like throwing up when seeing the new ones, though what is the problem with Citigraph maps, many parks use that company to create their theme park maps.

Isn't 4 a little low, I know that there isn't many electric cars on the road and that Sea World wants to conserve on electricity, though millions of people are coming and only a little over a thousand will be using it. Though, I think it is a great idea.

I really don't understand why Vekoma coasters are in advertisements. As far as the Turkey Mega Park, if it is in a good location, it can work since Turkey is a popular destination for Europeans.

From my research into all things in His glory, the best information I can find is this: When insurance companies meet up with a park in an effort to raise their rates, the park panics. At the time the restraints were imposed onto Revolution, there was a need for capacity. The par and the insurance companies had their sides to the arguments, but in the end the issue came down to capacity. Whereas a seatbelt (Montezooma's Revenge) is more comfortable, and closer to what He would have wanted in this situation, OTSRs are faster... and more painful in this case. The restraint system itself came from Intaride- as they are the same OTSRs that were used on the first-gen Flashback (Intamin Z-Force) due to the size and position. (The Z-Force/Flashback vehicles had similar clearances seat-wise to those found on the Schwarzkopf Mk2A trains, and thus the OTSRs would have fit.) Now in the end, we could attribute some of this atrocity against His ride to being dreadfully cheap. While the OTSRs on a Mk3A train ("Pop Up" restraints and a Lap Bar) from Schwarzkopf would have been far more comfortable, the costs were too high. Ultimately, this is case of 'Penny Wise, Pound foolish' in its finest form. (And Revolution didn't get Castrated at all- the ride still has all sorts of goodness in it- but the OTSRS make that 'goodness' hard to find...) Praise be to Anton. R.D. Though, Gerstlauer has those new Schwarzkopf trains that they can use on the Revolution, though I don't know if it would help capacity. Though, why would you need more capacity on an aging coaster with declining popularity?

Is it me or is that park map extremely ugly? The old map was MUCH better.

I hope S:UF will open in Spring Break (very doubtful) since that is when I'm moving to So Cal. The worst case scenario is going to SFDK in September and riding Superman.

That second turn-a-round always was the roughest part, so it's good they are finally re-tracking it. Also, I have been waiting years for a new website for CGA, and it's finally here! I think it is much better than the old one.

It's good that Cyclone is getting new track, now they'll have more sales on re-rides now. I think GCI's Millennium Flyer trains would be good on the Cyclone since it reflects an older design.

Water Challenge on Hammerhead! (Very Challenging)

Well, in the shops I have seen a Medusa & Sky Screamer shirt. I always wished parks would do more ride-branding shirts. It frustrates me that 90% of merchandise has nothing to do with the park, especially in CGA. Though, this year I'll buy myself a Superman: Ultimate Flight shirt.

Congrats to El Toro for being #1, it really earns this spot. I agree with everyone else with ranking the other El Toro high, it just seems like a regular GCI, it's like ranking American Thunder (SFStL) in the Top 10.

I there is going to be a new slide, it would be next to the "Manteca slides" in that open space. I really don't see anywhere else it would go unless they get really creative.

I think the tides are turning for CGA, it seems Cedar Fair actaully cares about CGA now.

I honestly think it's a really pathetic decision Six Flags did. I would've liked an orange track, blue support Goliath (like the rest of them )

Well, there's is demolished wood sitting on the S:UF site, so maybe the Zonga station was demolished? Also, why is the concrete slab flooded when it is a few feet above the ground? Unless the concrete slab was also demolished. Also, Pandemonium's enterance may be used for S:UF. If it was demolished, than whats that big piece of concrete that the truck is siting on. It seems like the wood is to far over to be Zonga's station, and besides, why take it out when if you can use it as a queue? Actually, if you look close enough, it seems the wood isn't Zonga's station, but Pandemonium's station. Though, isn't the truck located where Zonga's station is supposed to be?

Sure they're slower than the cable lifts, but they a much quicker than most lifts. Ride Diamondback then go ride Flight Deck, Vortex, or The Beast or ride Goliath then ride Georgia Cyclone, MindBender, or Ninja if you want to see slow lifts. If you want slow lifts, visit Japan.

"You can never have too many trash cans" --Dick Kinzel Well, at least you don't have to walk far to throw something away. Though, some teenagers purposely drop their food items and what shocks me is that they drop it just a few feet away from the trash can.

Carolina Cobra & Ricochet are on the NC side. Though, the 2 major coasters: Intimidator & Afterburn are in the SC side. Nighthawk, the 3rd largest is mostly on the SC side, I believe it crosses the border. Then, Thunder Run crosses between states, with the station & lift on the SC side. That leaves Carolina Cobra, Carolina Cyclone, & Hurler being the major coasters on the NC side and they're not really the greatest coasters.
