This could work if they limit the VR to one side (hopefully the westward facing side since the eastward facing side has the more intense view) and have the other side non VR so it could load as normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was thinking the same thing. That K'Nex HangTime coaster looks dope and I can't wait to go to Boysenberry Fest in April. I love the flexiblibilty of using the punch cards for different items. I don't like cheese so I'll be using the quesadilla punch for an extra short rib.

I'm so glad I didn't fly Spirit when I went to Orlando last August (not that I would've anyways). There was a Spirit plane stuck on the tarmac at Terminal 5 at LAX where I was that was surrounded by emergency vehicles and was being evacuated (I'm not sure what the issue was). A bunch of people that were to board this plane to its next destination were being delayed by awhile, possibly until another Spirit plane was available, and possibly until the morning. A lot of airport staff thought this going to delay the other flights in the terminal but my JetBlue flight was still listed as on time and didn't leave much later than the posted time. Honestly I don't know if I could ever fly Spirit (I would be willing to try Frontier or Alliegiant for a shorter flight) but if it was my last resort it wouldn't be for a flight more than two hours. JetBlue and Spirit were priced similar for flights to Orlando for when I went ($100 for JetBlue) for a five hour one-way so it was a no-brainer. I went to Universal Orlando and both Fun Spots on my last trip, so I plan to go to WDW on my next Orlando trip. I'm hoping to go in Sept or Oct when Epcot Food & Wine Festival and the Halloween events are going on. I may have to squeeze in a day trip to Busch Gardens if I secure enough days to go. This Spirit plane near my gate was having problems of some sort (this was the best picture I could get with my phone walking by quickly). I walked right by the Spirit plane and boarded my JetBlue flight to Orlando without any problems.

I can't wait to try some of those items. I have a pass this year so I'm definetely going down for Boysenberry Fest.

Looking forward to getting back to CGA when Railblazer opens.

I guess its safe to say now that the Metro isn't coming back.

Ah, the one ride that got away when I visited Space World on a "rain out" day in 2015. I hope it finds a home at another park with the giant rocket backdrop.

I'm planning on visiting Knott's on April 8 for Boysenberry Fest. I'm hoping that HangTime will be up and running by then and if Xcelerator is reopened by then that would be a nice bonus.

Still referring to Corey Feldman as a celebrity is being generous I thought the same thing.

Haha, ok cool, if you say so. That makes it official! Turning White Cyclone to an RMC would definitely get me to go back to Nagashima Spa Land. White Cyclone looked great being that massive and had a lengthy ride time, but it was underwhelming when I rode it in 2015.

Looks incredible. Thanks for sharing the inside of Imagineering which most people would never get to see. You wouldn't think their building would be so nondescript, but it makes sense as it probably prevents many people passing by from trying to go inside.

Looks really cool. I'll definitely have to check out this place when I eventually visit Dubai. Velociraptor's layout reminds me of Blue Fire, which is one my favorite rollercoasters in Europe. This kind of place (Probably in a much smaller building) would be great in NYC where the weather isn't so great. I've found it weird that NYC/NJ only really has Coney Island, SFGadV, and small Jersey Shore parks--yet they have such a massive population and number of tourists/major media companies. C'mon Disney, build a Marvel thing in NY! I was thinking this type of park in the US would be better fitted for a cold weather area as well with a population and tourist base, like NYC. If it's in a hot weather area, I think it would be better suited for Vegas, if Vegas wanted a full size amusement park.

I've only ridden a few Master Blasters so its definitely the best one I've been on. If I hadn't waited an extra 30 min in the station I probably would have liked it better. Some of the other slides were really good and the whole atmosphere of the place was great, like you were on a tropical vacation. You would have totally been fine in November if I was fine in the last week of August. I probably would have done everything then some if I went in November. Same here on the FL Legoland. I still haven't been to the CA one yet, but I'll have to eventually visit it. If I visit a Legoland, it will most likely be the CA one.

Sorry for the delayed response but it wasn't that bad overall although there were a couple of hiccups. I went on a Tuesday on the last week of August so the crowds were manageable. About a third of the slides were listed as "Ride it Now" all day, so there was no need to spend all that time in a lazy river. Two of the trap door slides were listed as "ride it now" most of the day, although there was about a 20 minute stand by wait in the line, so I think now for certain attractions if the projected wait is 15-20 min or less, they list them as ride it now. The longest wait I waited for was Krakatau, it was listed as 60 min when I tapped my Tapu Tapu, so I decided to have lunch and walk around and take pictures and then when I was about 15 min away from my time, thunder in the distance was reported so everyone had to get out of the water. It poured like a monsoon for about 20-30 minutes and then it started to clear up again, but they had to wait for thunder to be out of a 5 mile radius before they let people in water again or start up waterslides again so it was another 30 min. About a third of the people left the park during the heavy rain so that was nice. My Tapu Tapu would list Krakatau as temporary closed during the storm and until it reopened. When I was able to enter the Krakatau line it was about 30 minutes until I was about to board and then the ride broke down. I decided to wait it out and the cast members in the station played a trivia game with the guests waiting to see which group would get to ride twice when it reopened. It was about another 30 minutes before they started testing the ride and then about five minutes after that the ride was ready to go. The ride was great and was a pretty decent length for a waterslide, but there were a couple of water slides that I ended up liking better at Volcano Bay. The Ko' Okiri trap door slide (the straight down one) had about a 45 min wait time (which was accurate) when I was done with Krakatou (after 4:30 PM now) so I tapped into it, but once I was ready to go in its line it was a straight climb to the top and about a minute wait until it was time to go down. This waterslide was amazing and exilerating and my favorite one at Volcano Bay - it was only 7 seconds long but what a rush. Everything that was listed as "ride it now" (over half of the slides) after riding this (after 5:30 PM now with a 7 PM park close) was a walk on to the top of the waterslide including the other two trap door waterslides. I did Honu (blue dual wall raft slide) late in the day which listed a 20 min wait time, but moments after tapping it as I was walking away it listed 10 min, 5 min, and then "ready" on my Tapu Tapu so I headed back to Honu and went up to the top where after a couple of minutes I was boarded into a raft with a couple of others and it was a crazy fun ride - my second favorite after Ko' Okiri and better then Krakutau in my opinion which the other people on the raft agreed with me. I also tried the TeAwa Action River which is the faster paced lazy river and goes through the volcano and that was pretty good for a lazy river.

There's Coastermania in June at Cedar Point which may interest you and you could add a couple of more days at the Point. It's the first Friday in June I think and it's supposed to be a great enthusiast event with a lot of ERT.

I felt the same way when I went to Orlando for the first time ever back in August, especially with Pandora having just opened, but I only had four days and riding Dragon Challenge before it closed was the purpose of my trip. I do not regret my decision as I had three great days at Universal Orlando including a good day at Volcano Bay, and a fourth day at both Fun Spots before flying home. I really liked Universal Orlando resort, and felt there was plenty to do there. Sure, there are a few redundant attractions with the same ride system, but Fantasyland at Disneyland has several dark rides with a similar ride system to each other, so is it much different than that? It sucks that Dragon Challenge was removed and had it been in another location of the park it would have been safe, but even without it Islands of Adventure is still a great park and Universal Orlando offers plenty of attractions for thrill seekers that also likes immersive environments. Escape from Gringotts might have been my favorite ride at the Universal Orlando resort and if the new Harry Potter attraction is at least as good as that, then we're in for a treat.

NICE TR. Oktoberfest was a great trip and I'm so glad I did it. I couldn't get as high as you or complete full rotations on those self-powered swinging cage rides at Oktoberfest, but I sure tried. When I do a full UK trip (which I eventually will do) I'll definitely do Chessington World Adventures and Thrope Park along with Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, but if I were doing a day trip from London I'd pick Thrope Park over Chessington (although I did sightseeing when I ended off my trip in London).

Viper and Ninja at SFMM are among the nicest coaster logos I've seen. It even inspired some people to get tattoos of it. Not me though, I'm not crazy!

That's crazy you were there the same day we were there (I was with that Oktoberfest group). Was it pure coincidence you were there the same day? That was the wettest day of our trip, as it was pretty nice weather the rest of our trip. I really enjoyed Phantasialand despite the rainy weather, which finally cleared up during evening hotel ERT on Taron. Even being at Phantasialand open to close there were some rides I missed out on that I would have liked to ride like Talocan. I'm glad I didn't miss River Quest though, that was a crazy rapids ride with the elevator lift leading straight into a ramp drop. I was trying keep my feet/shoes from getting soaked so I almost fell off my seat on the second drop. By the way, we actually popped into Netherlands the next day for three hours at Slagharen before heading to Movie Park Germany in the afternoon.
