mcjaco replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
WOW, I was married on Space Mountain's 30th birthday! My wife will be sooo thrilled with this information.....I see many future anniversary trips! Sadly, I went to one park on one day this year. October 14th SFGam, first ride, Superman. Last ride, Whizzer...... -

These are words to live by people. I try to keep anything that may detrimental to my health away from my anus. -
Any TPR that includes "GIMME SOME CANDY!" get a thumbs up from me!

^ Trust me, I'm not spending time pondering the likes of MM. I have much better ways of wasting my time. -

Let us not forget DaDa's only hit: "Dizz Knee Land" Can't say I'm a MM fan. I think he's a creation of music execs, IMO. -
Why do they need donkeys??? Look at that guy in the blue shirt! He looks like a fine physical specimen! He'd fall over he ran up the court once...

Man, I'm bummed. Everyone dies at the hands of El Nino..... He sure has a thing with the burning of trees!

MLB Season Over, Now were On To The Off Season Acquisitions.

Um, I think the Cubs need more than one more bat. The Furcal disaster basically speaks volumes about the Cubs state. Why would anyone go to a team that already has four middle infielders, no manager (at the time) and, no real GM? Because the Cubs was his only other choice for the money.....we've got so many holes in the line up this year it's scary. Can someone please tell Mr. Hendry we need starting pitching?! I can't take another year of watching Wood and Prior hurt every other week. -
Is soaked the disk only used once?
mcjaco replied to ocna's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Re-selling it would be illegal. Not sure how that would give the Alveys a bad name......I think ocna would be the one in trouble...... -
problem with soaked
mcjaco replied to Chiller1028's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Sounds like you got this fixed but, for anyone else: Make sure you set your "land rights" for the park. You can place rides but not the entrances and exits if you don't own the land they're on. It had me baffled for awhile when I first bought the game. -

Love the snow photos! For those of you wishing for snow, you can have it. Pretty in pictures, not fun in real life. I beleive the shaking of the DVD player is Rule 7in the Operation Manuals of anything electronic: Use of excessive force until it works properly or, breaks. -
I just got a new PC so I've been playing RCT3. On PS2, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. On X-Box, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Sweet Jesus! $405K?!!! I thought the housing market in Chicago had lost touch with reality.....those are like mid 200's here. IMO, it's still way too much! Oh yeah, I liked #4.

Next Expansion for RCT3
mcjaco replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ I'd agree with that. RCT2 was basically RCT repackaged with a few "new" goodies. The two expansions still came out over the course of 2 years after the release. I have a feeling these two expansions from RCT3 were items that they had planned from the beginning of RCT3 development, thus their quick release. Personally, I'd like to see more scenery options like RCT2 had: Europe, Asia, Jungle, Medevil theming etc. The only ride no one has done is one like SFGAM's Triple Play, that'd be nice too. -
The controller thing has really bothered me. For some reason, they just stop finding the center point after awhile. Try playing Splinter Cell when good old Sam Fisher feels like creeping across the screen when you need to be sitting still! I treat my stuff very well so, it bugs me. I had heard the old drives were crap on the XBOX butm this one is only two years old. I'm really not in the mood to change it out at this point. I'll probably take it into a Gamestop with my PS2 and trade up for a 360 or PS3. Once I got XBOX, the PS2 kind of got pushed to the side. Especially since games are no longer "exclusives" anymore. Everything comes out for every system at some point.

Note to self: if the bottles are dusty on the shelf, take a look at the bottom of the bottles. Bell's is actually quite good....although this development may have changed my mind. You're quite right about Michigan!

I bought all three of the last set of consoles. I waited a year after release to get a PS2, waited another year to get a XBOX and then bought the Gamecube last year. I'll say this, each has their strengths and weaknesses, it all depends on what you're looking for. I bought the PS2 because of the game library available at the time and, I loved my PSX. It was incredibly reliable for me. Metal Gear Solid: SOL was the reason I bought PS2 first. Then I bought the XBOX. Loading times were short, ripping music was cool and, Splinter Cell just blew my mind. After going through two controllers (the joysticks don't like to center), and now I'm having disc reading problems, it's lost it's panache for me. The Gamecube.....hmmm, I bought it and almost never played it. Nintendo's biggest weakness, IMO, is their game library. They just don't have enough quality games to keep ME interested. I sold it within 9 months. That being said, I'd like to somehow combine the features of PS2 and XBOX (with next gen graphics). In any case, I'll wait......

My wife and bought a 6 of Leinenkugel's Apple Cider.....we give it an unenthusiastic "eh." If you want cider, buy cider not beer trying to be cider. On a side note, we recently bought some Bell's Pale ale. There was a literally a layer of silt/sand at the bottom of each bottle. Anyone had anything like that happen?

I haven't been real crazy about any of them. McAfee pissed me off, Pcillian annoyed me, and Norton makes me want to pull my hair out. I've turned off shceduled tasks and it still does them (only when I'm in the middle of something important, of course!).

I was there all last week on business (unfortnately, I did not get to the parks....stupid boss). I did swing by City Walk at Universal and Downtown Disney, neither seemed very crowded during the actual week. In any case, great TR. EE is looking sweet! -
^ I was unaware of the prancing....I do hope this does not put my masculinity in jeopardy!
