WDW 2007 Rates and Packages are out
mcjaco replied to methylene's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
And seriously, is there anything else like going to a Disney park??? I'd pay no matter what.....in fact I am, in October! -
"Supposedly" the story line won't even show Joker until half way through. It's going to be about how he became the Joker, ala Batman Begins. I think the Spiderman movies have shown you can have multiple storylines with villians and, not muck up the waters too much.

See, I was right. The ladies love it!

Nicholson was OK. The Joker is a nut but, he made him almost a bit too comical for me. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the performance, I just hope Nolan will bring him back the way he was, like he did with Batman. The Penguin rumor has me really intrigued. This will be an interesting few months as they gear up for production in early 2007.

^ I'm just joking with ya. I drink with my shirt off all the time. The ladies love it.....yeah, that's it...... No drinks for me tonight. I have surgery tomorrow morning to fix a hole in my eardrum. Oh well.

Nice pole.

Warner Brothers released info on the next Batman movie, "The Dark Knight" (yeah, cool and appropriate title!). There is going to be two villians, the Joker and Peguin. Surprisingly, they've cast Heath Ledger for the Joker. I'm kind of weirded out about that casting job although I guess I can see him playing that role. It will be interesting if Chris Nolan makes him a darker villian than Tim Burton and Nicholson did. Summer of 2008 can't come fast enough for me.

$7 off, thats excellent. Thanks mcjaco!!!!. Just to clarify that's 1 empty Coke can per person - right? Also is that a regular Coke can or one with the offer printed on it? I couldn't tell you. I didn't know about it until we got to the gate but, everyone seemed to be walking up with cans in their hands. Oh well, $25 isn't too bad to get in for a park. Bring your swimsuit, the water park is awesome.

Back in high school we used to make red F's out of typing paper and tape them to the bus on school trips. We were then FLAMERS. I know, dumb but, funny at the time.

It was 105 at game time this evening. Two innings into my baseball game, the storms rolled in....game canceled and I went home for what else? A Fat Tire! It doesn't get any better than this, gentlemen! And I kept my shirt on! Ohhh yeah!

I'm sure some of the other members that frequent the park more often than I do will chime in. I don't think it will be too bad those two weeks. School should be starting up again by then. At least High School and college will be, so crowds might be lighter than they are in the height of the summer. Just plan on taking the whole day to enjoy, just in case.

I think you'll see we're all fans of Anchor Steam. In fact, I'm going to go have one now!

CM's, the best people to get info from! Thanks for the help (everyone)! This is my 25th visit to WDW in my 31 years of existence and I can still hardly wait. I'm a nerd (my wife says so too).

^^ I would never think not to do the Sam Adam's school! I see many postings for the "Beer Thread." My wife is eyeing the wine and cheese pairings as well. I've been told Jersey Week is later this year....fingers crossed. Not much we can do, the trip is booked. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

When I was at Geauga Lake in June, and empty Coke can got you $7 bucks off, or something like that. Although it's only $25 to get in, which I thought was reasonable anyway.

That was the sausages in Milwaukee, not the perogies. Humorously it was done by a Pittsburgh Pirate (Randall Simon). I eat them by putting them in my mouth and chewing.

Started at Universtiy of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and majored in Geography with a minor in Cartography (map making). Ended up getting a nice summer job at an insurance company and doing telecommunications works, I have no idea how I got rung into that. Ended up staying and transferring to DeVry for a BS in Business Adminstration (company paid). I have nothing nice to say about DeVry. They may have "real world" experience but, no "real world" teaching skills. Thank god, my company paid for most of it.

I'd never heard of that. I wonder if that's what these people are thinking are major crowds. Thanks for the help everyone!

^ Tell me about it. My buddy's wife was hit by a drunk driver last Monday. He went across into the oncoming traffic and hit her head on. Witnesses at the bar said he couldn't even find his car, let alone get into when he left. State troopers found out he had a warrant for a previous DUI (he had four) while they waited for him at the ER. Someone tipped him off and he fled. Now they can't find him. One very classy individual that shouldn't be allowed on the road, let alone out in society.

OK, my wife and planned a trip to WDW October 7-15, mostly because I've experienced light crowds during that time and, she is going to run in the Race to the Taste. EPCOT's Food and Wine event is going on and I guess there's some Not So Scary Halloween Night's occuring. The consensus on all the boards is that there is no consensus. Some are saying crowds are light while others are proclaiming crowds are unbareble. Which is it? Or do the boards have some looney Disney freaks tht think the park should be empty for them? Anyone know the crowd level?

^ Cool! When we were out there last month I was given a choice, Great Lakes or Geauga Lake. I choose ten credits. Next time, I guess!

That's what I'm talking about!!!

Woo hoo, we won our final softball game tonight. With that I celebrated with my last Hop Devil! Mmmmm.
