  1. Halo 3? Pish posh. I'm waiting for Guitar Hero 3.
  2. ^ Perhaps posting to TPR at work isn't a good idea then.... I'm all for this. I'm tired of hearing cars four blocks away. Technically most sound disturbance laws already state the 75' rule. This is a way for Rockford to hit these morons in the wallet.
  3. ^ How much back support do you need when your laying face down through 90% of a ride?
  4. ^ Please make it quick. I'm bored at work. Simply awesome stuff Scott. Nuff' said.
  5. I had a much different idea for a caption for this pic. Great PTR Scott!!! Although, I don't think Derek will ever sanction any competition where he gives away one of his beers.
  6. This entire PTR is a farce! Everyone knows Colin has no friends!
  7. I'm not sure amazing is the right word.
  8. Ah Uno. What was once a pizzeria only in Chicago, it went franchise and now lost it's charm. Great PTR Rick. As usual!
  9. ^^ It was my first brew fest. I wasn't expecting anything too spectacular, but some of the selections were just bad. Capital Brewery didn't have Autumnal Fire, and was supposed too. Upon further discussion with the brew master (another perk of VIP, there's no one around to pester them), he told me he screwed up the second batch, so he couldn't bring it. Really, the major perk was just being able to get to all the booths before the drunks showed up. Chris (the man with the pasta salad) owns a bar and has something like 26 taps. He's a great guy to follow around since he knows most of these guys. Even better, the sales guy for New Glarus went to high school with Abra. He gave her a Spotted Cow t-shirt, and told us to come up and visit. You guys need to come out, we can hit up a ton of really good small Wisconsin Breweries.
  10. Of course it's darker. You used a flash.
  11. As some fo you know, Abra and I headed up to Racine, WI for their annual Great lakes Brew Fest. It's mostly midwest breweries, but some stuff like Lagunitas, Victory, a bunch of Colorado stuff (no New Belgium ) and Sam Adams came out as well. The highlights of the show, were first, our VIP tickets. At $50 a piece, limited to 200 people, a free stein, and an hour of time before the general public was let in. As a group, I think we hit up all the major stuff before the hour was even up. I was a bit let down with Victory, Capital, Bell's and Dark Horse. They all brought stuff that was readily available (if I go border hopping). New Glarus was simply awesome, their Raspberry Tart is awesome....and very tart! You guys can laugh, but Lakefront makes an awesome Pumpkin Ale that was just like sipping a slice of pie. We also enjoyed BluCreek's Blueberry ale, and my favorite of the show was Tyranena's Rocky's Revenge. It's a great brown with a sweet kick of caramel at the end. Needless to say, we made a major stop before heading back into IL. New Glarus and Bell's can now be found in refrigerator! We stopped in a local bar afterwards. Chris decided someone's pasta salad looked good, picked up the plate and went out the front door. Nice ass! I love some roasted nuts. They covered the other sign that said, "Heavenly roasted nuts." Here's the crowd after the VIP hour. Bell's. Again with a weak selection. I was hoping for so much more. Speaking of locals. I question anyone with a Lowenbrau hat. They brought their trailer and by the end of the night were completely tapped out. The locals didn't leave their table. Way to try stuff out morons. Winner of best named brews. Seriously, Hop Devil, Whirlwind, Prima Pils and Fest. Booo. Abra enjoys her free stein. VIP Crowd. Easy to navigate.
  12. Mmmm, wandless SSE........
  13. What kind of chocolate are we talking about? I love chocolate.
  14. Kylie Minogue is kind of hot. Could that be considered a victory? Better yet, Men at Work?
  15. Quoted for truth. EIther that, or they've yet to leave the state of Ohio.
  16. We have a friend who is a fireman for the Gurnee Fire Department. He thinks I'm crazy to go to SFGAm, because of all the stuff he's seen there.
  17. ^ So do I. There's no trims on the uphill side.
  18. AHHHH! Wally has hair!
  19. ^ I'm hiding in her closet right now. Beerfest in Racine is this coming weekend. I WILL post pictures.
  20. Eat your heart out boys. I got my hands on Capital Brewery's Autumnal Fire. This is once awesome doppelbock that's a limited release. I grabbed one for a mix pack, but I'll be running back to grab a bunch more. Makes mouth happy! Check out the awesome color.
  21. ^ I still love you Wally. I haven't had enough time to drink, let alone take any pictures lately. Not that I'd post them anyway.
  22. I don't even remember me starting this thread. They actually did destroy that building. It's been vacant for a few years. Filming just wrapped up here last week, they even filmed a portion in my office's lobby and back alley. Can't wait to see that! It's gonna be a heck of a cast, and when you replace Katie "Help me I'm brainwashed" Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhall, that's a major plus.
  23. You get a ton of airtime on ziplines, so says I.
  24. Awesome! I want to see more pictures of Japanese people sleeping on the train!
  25. Cornball or Cyclops. Is Avalanche under 75? I'd rank that higher than Cyclops.
