^ No, right now is a sad part of GL history. Ted's story is a funny part. How can you try to ban people from taking any pictures? Get it? -

Don't like the Cornball Express?! Who you crappin?! That's the best ride in the park, with the exception of squishing three grown men into the Scrambler. -

Six Flags Great America TR/Update Thing

Not only new paint, a huge mechanical overhaul and its tracking very smooth. They are also making a new Eagle Red train right now (and ive heard they might make a new blue one also) which looks very sharp and will probably be running next year. What makes you think they would tear out Demon? Its still a very popular ride, especially because the height requirement is 42" Exactly. It's old, so therefore it MUST be torn down. -

^ It's that elusive 300th credit that's the most important though. -

^ That's precisely our point. He didn't arrange anything with Disney. It's their own private event. Disney has since decided to do a "rededication" ceremony on their own. The article makes it sound like Mr. Roth planned this. It's a poorly written and misinforming article, which is no surprise coming from the Sentinel.

^ Awesome Heath! The wife and I, along with a few friends, are htting up a beerfest in Racine coming this September. I can't wait. Which reminds me, that I have about a weeks worth of beer photos I need to get posted....

Curses, I keep reading the title of this post as "Northern Exposure." I thought I was going to see Derek and Nicole topless. -
OK, after reading this again.... Don't mislead people. You're not "taking part" in the ceremony. You're attending it. You've set up private party to celebrate, and you haven't gotten Disney officials to suddenly step up to the plate. There's hundreds of Disney websites and blogs that have been pissing and moaning about there not being some sort of anniversary party for EPCOT. I'm not saying this didn't play a part, but there's a large enough group of EPCOT fanboys and girls that would almost force them to listen at some point. Not to mention that EPCOT has new management that may have already been planning this. It's still too little, too late IMO. They decorated the freakin' castle as a cake for cryin' out loud. EPCOT gets a tiny little rededication? Please. And what the heck does having to get tables down 15 minutes before the gates open have anything to do with being back by the Fountain of Nations?

Six Flags Great America 7/21
mcjaco replied to texashorns82492's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hmm, where to start? 1) Isn't parking $15 at most of the Six Flags park, let alone around that cost at most other parks? Get used to it. 2) You can't complain about lines when you went straight to American Eagle and didn't hit the big three (S:UF, Raging Bull & Batman) before the crowds got really bad. Do a little research before you hit a park if you're just there to whore it up. 3) It's a Saturday in July. What the heck are you expecting? 4) Why are you complaining about a bathroom line that's for the one washroom outside the park? DId you have any waits in the washrooms inside? Your "terrible" experience seems to come from your lack of experience navigating a park.
