^ Sadly Derek, our schedule and the beer school did not coincide. I think the next one started at about the same time we had to get going to MNSSHP. I did have a 12th Anniversary Ale in you honor.....and because it's the only time to get it.

I say anything with chili and sausage is awesome. Oh and beer. Beer goes well with everything.

I had no idea North America looked so similiar to Mickey's head.

It's been my experience over the past year or so, that it's getting crowded at all times of the year. That's not to say it's as bad as is during the summer and the holiday breaks, but it's not like it used to be.....desolate. You should have plenty of time to hit up all the major attractions in which ever parks you go to. I tip my hat to your parents, because a two day hopper is mucho dinero.

Which is why I said "most" of California sucks.

^ Which would probably explain my ride. I was in the second or third row. When you have your hands buried in your pockets to hold onto your camera and phone, it's not a forceful ride.

I applaud round one of what I hope is a complete Dave PTR. One question remains. How many times did gravity try to make you eat pavement?

Something tells me Flashback will end up making friends with the cutting torch. I too have fond memories, although as Z-Force, of that ride. It was what I considered a huge step after facing Demon and the Whizzer.

Kick ass, Cam. It's amazing what goes on at the Rosemont Convention Center, that nobody really hears about. I love the fact that som many of us have other hobbies and like to share them here.

Nice TR. I think just about everyone has posted a backwards TR at one point. The preview mode flips them around for some reason. Just remember that the way you submit them is the arrangement they get posted.

That's because most of California sucks. I keep waiting for Abra to tell me she's got a business trip to Philly so, I can come out and do some sightseeing and drinking.

Phew, these are the last pictures I took before heading to Orlando. I'm all caught up now. As many of you know I'm not a huge IPA fan, but I keep trying them in hopes one sways me. So a few weeks ago I picked up Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner. Yeah.....this is the first beer I actually poured out after about a third of it. I just couldn't take it anymore. Curse hopiness. I picked up some awesome stuff yesterday. The local beer buyer at the store we frequent has gotten to know me quite well, and put some stuff to the side for me, that isn't readily available in Chicago. I think he may be my newest bestest friend. In any case, it's good, small batch, expensive stuff, so I'll be waiting to get to those. One face says it all. Far superior than Sam Adam's Lambic, but still quite nasty. Abra decided she wanted to try Sand Creek's Cranberry Special Ale. Eh. Nothing to write home about. Drinkable, but nothing popped out at me.....not even blueberries. Mendocino Oktoberfest. That's the NY Mendocino.....I can't wrap my head around that yet. Holy hopiness Batman! Intense Hop experience, was an understatement.

I'm not saying I didn't like it, but when it's talked up a ton and it's not what you expect......meh. It was enjoyable, but not a forceful as everyone makes it out to be. At least not on the day we rode.

^ I've actually found that SFGAm Fright Fest is getting more crowded each year. Friday nights used to be empty, and now they're almost as bad as the weekends. They keep uping the theming but, the scaractors seem to be diminishing each year.
