  1. Actually the image is of Chang. It's just mirrored and edited (Clear evidence is that the track threads the dive loop on Chang, not Mantis). And the layout up to the MCBR is only similar to Chang with the same basic mirrored layout. Lengths, heights, angles, and many other factors are different. Just sayin... Ahh wasn't looking at it right. And that's basically considered a mirror image. If you were to shrink GL down 9 feet you'd basically have a Dueling Standup coaster.
  2. Actually they are. Except for height and the fact that Green Lantern's first half is the slightest bit longer (and possibly the lil turn after exiting Mantis' station), the first half of Green Lantern and Mantis are mirror images of each other.
  3. ^ None of those names are very good....
  4. Why not go for Terminal Velocity. Nah but if they do make a drop tower it should go at least 100 mph.
  5. Actually it's Mantis. Mantis and Green Lantern are (almost) mirror images of each other. Mantis curves from the right from the lift, and GL turns to the left. Fun fact. Except everything is kinda smooshed in there, different elements could be from different coasters. XD
  6. Oh didn't realize IW has a corkscrew. That would be the thing. GP would get mad about the fact there wasn't a corkscrew even though a corkscrew was promoted.
  7. Look at the holes...now look at the Green Lantern photo. Same thing, just different colors. Green Lantern clone (Called it).
  8. You sure it wasn't one those "Max Height Reqs" even though that's an absurdly low maximum height requirement?
  9. Riverside's (Now SFNE's)Cyclone's height req for years was 48", but Riverside bumped it up to 54".
  10. The last thing that comes to mind when I think of SF is "visually appealing". And almost the same for CP.
  11. ^ It usually is what the park wants. But the more intense a ride is, usually they'll up the height requirement just because mostly older teens and adults enjoy more intense rides rather than younger kids. And it's hard for adults to fit in to such small seats too.
  12. Um, we knew since last Septemeber we were getting a launching coaster and not a woodie. And it is Verbolten not verboten. And we also knew last Septemeber that we weren't gettinga woodie because it would be too loud. How are they that loud GCIs are smooth and very quiet ( for a woodie) and it wound be back in the woods. I also know that it is called verbolten but my ipod doesnt reconize it as a word. Stupid autocorrect. Anyway i knew it wa going to be a steel coaster and what it looks like i am dissapointed so im saying what i was wanting Woodies are always louder than steels (Except maybe B&Ms). Verbolten's area is actually only about 1000 yards from the nearest house, that's actually kinda close if you ask me. And don't say you are disappointed with a ride that hasn't even been released. You can't judge a ride over a possibly fake layout leak! Ride it yourself and come back to me when you have.
  13. Erm...just a little question. Does SFNE have lil cubbies on the rides to leave your stuff (Or a bin or anywhere where you can leave a bag) or do you have to bring everything on with you like at stupid SFGadv.
  14. Love B&M hypers too. The handle bars on the lap bar was epic genious
  15. A drop tower on the side of Superman would have horrible capacity. Just make a 60 person 400 ft drop tower on the site of, anywhere. Don't take up much space really.
  16. Pretty much all standups are like this.
  17. There are different variables that could contribute to wheel degradation. Some wheels will degrade, some won't. All depends. But parks aren't very good at replacing wheels.
  18. Intamin's except for ZacSpins are never really compact.
  19. Storm Runner does look amazing at night.
