The infamous Crystal Beach Cyclone opened 1927 and closed 1946 had a nurse standing by for the riders getting off. This is probably the most famous ride removal that I'm aware of.

Stupid work computer won't show the pics from facebook or Keyston Thrills!!! I did see the one of the lift construction though, that thing looks steep. Is it just the angle of the pic or is it actually steeper than a 45* lift?

I'm one of the very few people left that truly enjoys Mean Streak but, and this is a big but (hehe "big but" ), Real just changed my mind. As much as I would hate to see it go, I would be perfectly fine with the removal of MS if I knew they were replacing it with a GCI or GG monster.

I have all of the common pet peeves (Line jumpers, know-it-all GP, etc) but one i'm noticing more now is when a ride op gets the stats wrong. I can understand if they're referencing another ride in the park but you think they'd know their own ride.

^ I really wantto ride GL again to see if my opinion will change. My one and only ride was both painful and uneventful (one and a half flips). I'm hoping to make it to WCB and if so hope they won't balance out the trains like on my ride.

S:EFK wins this hands down, at least out of the coasters I've witnessed. On the ride itself it's not that bad, but standing beneath the tower is horrible. B&M's to me are loud but not in a bad way, I LOVE me a good B&M roar with Mantis and Hulk being my favorites.

Blue Streak gets my vote. So sad that it's becoming more of a hidden gem than a must ride in peoples minds.

Levi's coming along great!!! The hill after the barrel roll looks like it could be a spot of rare beemer ejector air That is, of course, if the don't murder it with trims.

The Grand Canyon for sure. The first time I went, maybe 5 years ago, my jaw literally dropped. I've never seen anything like it and pictures do it absolutely no justice. I've been back twice since then and each time it never ceases to amaze me. It's been the only place where I've been willing to wake up before dawn and watch the sun rise, I haven't even done that while staying at an amusement park . I love to sit on a rock at the edge with my feet dangling and just stare. Sheer beauty.

^I agree, for the type of show it was on and the small amount of track that was vertical at the time of filming, it's a very good piece to get the word out even more.

Is there any progress on Superman yet? I think this one might be the sleeper this year, I'm pretty excited for it.

Rush - Dreamline

I truly am excited for this coaster. It looks like it will have some pretty good forces and, if the concept art holds true, it will have some great interaction with the walkways and landscaping. Not to mention those trains are going to be sexy looking

Don't get me wrong, Crosby can play VERY well and is fun to watch. Ovie just touches so many more aspects of the game, not only can he score but he's insanely fast, can hit, pass and even drop the mitts if he wanted.

Well it's good to see him back on the ice even though I'm not his biggest fan, I personally think Ovie is the best player today. Which btw, a very disappointing loss for the Coyotes last night to the Capitals. It was a fun game to watch though.

So all weekend I was switching back and forth between Assassins Creed Revelations and Saints Row 3. AC is a very worthy third for Ezio's story and combines the best attributes of both AC2 and brotherhood. Saints Row I was a little skeptical on because of how "cartoony" the previews looked. I can safely say it's one of the better open worlds I've played, tons of comedy and the missions are fun and have just enough challenge to keep me entertained. I've preferred Saints Row over GTA since the first SR and it holds true with this game.

I'm currently working on something epic...In my spare time I love to take my favorite songs and rewrite the lyrics using the vocal patterns and rhyme schemes already set up. I am taking Five Finger Death Punch's "the Pride" and writing an ode to TPR/Coaster Enthusiasts using nothing but coaster names in the verses. It's harder than I first thought . Will post when it's done though, maybe next week. EDIT: Final draft of "Born to Ride", it is a lyric parody of FFDP's "The Pride". I have to thank rcdb for giving me names that rhyme . I'm only disappointed with the first line of the second verse where the rhyme is mouse with mouse but I couldn't find anything else. Let me know what you think . I wouldn't necessarily consider Mean Streak's an "upgrade," more like a regular necessity. It gets repaired/retracked as needed and/or every offseason. It isn't something they have only done "a few times." What you said is what I was aiming for, guess I did word it weird.
