^That's right, I forgot about those! 2013 could be very promising, seeing as Maverick was the last big time thrill installed. I don't mean to spark the whole DT debate again but, a friend who's worked at CP for 4 years now (and has been correct about a few little changes around the park in the past) accidentally let a "DT is gone and to be replaced by a beemer" slip my direction during a moment of drunken weakness . I'm not saying this will happen but it's the most logical thing I can see.

Lucky! haha No unfortunately all of my gear is either too small or has been destroyed from playing on the street.

^Yes I am a Coyotes fan that was a bitter loss for our season opener with the 6-2 loss or whatever it was. Smith really didn't stand a chance that game, facing 50+ shots and a very porus defense. Backstroms record is where I'd expect it to be, he's always been one to play quietly then pull an amazing performance out for a game then back to hiding haha. That's awesome you play goalie too, I played growing up because I was the only one in our group who was willing to stand in front of a puck and went on to hold the best record in our league for 5 seasons I think. I'd love to get back into it and start playing again but time and money play a huge factor.

^^I would assume rehabed trains and cooler weather play a large roll in that. But can't say for certain because I haven't been since July. I'm craving another trip, maybe next month and I'm definitely going to push to get to WCB. ^I agree with your X2 statement 100%. I was cocky the last time I rode and thought "Oh, my phone will be ok. ^ I played goalie for 14 years growing up and loved it, I'm actually considering joining a league a few co-workers are part of. I found it's more mental than it is physical. Sure you need physical talent but it takes a lot to tell your body to stand in front of a slapshot when the natural instinct is to dive away. I played defense a lot as well but prefer goalie, my fat A$$ isn't made for long distance . I'm good for about 60 meters rather than a mile haha.

Both arguements have valid points, but personally I like a fast paced highly defensive game. I understand Tampa's strategy and can see why Philly was just standing there, a well played 1-3-1 defense can be a bitch to get through haha. But that being said, lets play some hockey and not stand there with the puck.

Exactly, that is the most logical solution in my opinion. The only way this method could be screwed up is if one of the teams throws a major hissy fit. Columbus or Detroit would be best suited for moving to the East. Personally I'd love to see Detroit move to the East and start a good rivalry with the majority of the Original Six teams. Paul Bissonnette being the twitter adict he is posted a pic online which put the Torres' "black face" all over the interwebs. A big sports writer for the LA times wrote a column ripping the franchise and Torres apart for this "racial insensitivity." A) it was a HALLOWEEN party, you know, people dress up to be things they really aren't and B) a white writer is pulling the race card. The local sports radio talk shows were talking about this all day yesterday. Black listeners calling in saying that this isn't black face to them and they're more pissed at the writer for deciding what's offensive or not. I guess this guy is just upset because he doesn't have the Lakers to follow. Ya ready for it?..................SFMM Really disappointing year I wanted to at least get CP and Knotts in too but that isn't looking likely anymore. Next year I'm hoping to get SFMM, CP, Hershey, and KI. I've been to all of the parks within a day or two of Detroit with the exception of Holiday World and Dollywood but I have to go back and get the credits since my last visit. Depending on how frisky I get I might make my own midwest or north east tour. Also if the family is going to Florida for vacation it would be really cool to add any combo of BGT, Sea World Orlando, IOA, or Disney. Dream big or go home right?

Exactly!! This to me is what "General Public" means, not necessarily a negative term, but a term to describe somebody who isn't as much into this hobby we all find so interesting. I don't care much for knitting but somebody could live and die for it, therefore I am a GP of knitting.

Log Jammer is the best flume I have been on and I'm disappointed I only got one ride on it, sadness . As for the area it's taking up, I still think an Intamin blitz or a Stormrunner type accelerator would be a perfect fit for the park.

This thing looks like it has major potential!! I like the slight alterations on the standard B&M mega layout and the play with Dragon Khan. As for the splashdown/mcbr debate, the element is in a position to be either and I personally don't have an issue with either one.

If done correctly this could be perfect and I'm all for it. I don't believe a fast pass system will affect the stand by lines very much at all. Those worried about lines getting longer will eventually notice it's not going to be as bad as they think it will be. Plus like others said, if you don't like it don't use it.

Pretty cool...I have the four sets of this style available at my local walmart and want to re-create Maverick, I know I'll need more pieces and a launcher but it's a task I'm determined to do . How'd you hook the cars together? I haven't buckled down to see how it could be done yet, just fishing for ways to do it.
