I watched TRON Legacy for the first time the other night. It was the first Bluray movie played on my new PS3 . I'll be honest, with having never seen the original and knowing very little about the world that is TRON, I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Great graphics, fun action, decent story. Good stuff

^Awesome! Thanks for the info. I haveto start looking into this because it looks like a great way to pass the time. I've been thinking about creating a Maverick recreation with the smaller models, the only issue is I don't think I have the space to build it -
Now I really need to invest in a camera. Great shots everybody!! Real, I love your shots of the tigers in the last few pages.

How much does something like this cost roughly? I know the K'nex serpent coaster is the most expensive of their models, at least from what I've seen. How many sets are required for something like this? I love building things and using my hands and have bought a few of the smaller 20-40$ k'nex models but have always been intrigued by the serpent. -
^They good live? I've always enjoyed a good operatic female vocalist.

^hmm, either one's cool with me as long as they keep the "epicness" of the game. I love how big and broad they are.

Amazing cause....simply amazing....I've forwarded this onto my facebook to get the word on this tragedy out to even more people. -
^Agreed. The car next to us was launched just like that. However ours was even better. The ride op said "Okay guys put your hand up, we're gonna have to check the restraints again." Right when we all put our hands up we were gone. That definitely added more thrill to the ride. One of my rides in July resulted in the op acting like he was pushing the button but it was broken, shurgged his shoulders and another op snuck up behind him and launched us as the original op had an evil grin on his face. Good fun for sure.

This last Saturday 9/10 I attended Phoenix's local rock station 98 KUPD's Red White and UFest. Bands were, Back from Ashes (great local band), Boy Hits Car (was not too impressed with them), Black Veil Brides (again not too impressed, just another Avenged Sevenfold), My Darkest Days (a decent radio rock band), Times of Grace (great band featuring members of Killswitch Engage), Digital Summer (a very good local band that's making it pretty big now), Danko Jones (one of the main reasons I went, I've been wanting to see Danko for years now and they did not let me down), Filter (really shouldn't have been in this lineup but put on a good show, almost got booed off of the stage), Anthrax (one word, amazing…I've now seen 3 of the Big Four thrash bands, just have Slayer to go) and Five Finger Death Punch (4th time seeing them and they keep getting better and better). The best thing about this show is the fact that it was intended to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the morning show, Holmberg’s Morning Sickness. The host of the show, John Holmberg, basically said “F*** that, I’m proud of the fact we’ve been on the air for ten years but something more important happened ten years ago. We need to honor that.” The show was then turned around to be a tribute/remembrance show for the tragedy that occurred on 9/11/01. He gave tickets to First Responders (Police, Fire, EMT, etc.) and Military personnel for free to thank them for the amazing work they do every day, knowing that if another tragedy were to happen they’d be the first to jump and put other peoples lives before their own. Almost 10,000 people showed up and approximately 3,000 were first responders and military. Countless applauses and cheering for those men and women occurred throughout the day as well as just walking up to a man or woman in uniform and shaking their hand to give thanks. The break for the Arizona Color Guard to present our nations colors with the guitarists from Anthrax playing the national anthem literally gave me chills. Almost 12 hours of non-stop hard rock and heavy metal leaves me battered and bruised two days later. Amazing show for an amazing purpose.

Does anybody know when TV schedules are released? All I've seen so far are what games are going to be on Versus. My local channel doesn't have anything set yet either it seems. -
Brotherhood dominates all that was AC 2, Revelations is going to dominate Brotherhood haha. This series just keeps getting better and better. I hear after they finish Ezio's story in Revelations they're going to move things to Civil War era USA and involve the Illuminauti and the Free Masons with the next game.

Well my birthday a couple of weeks ago resulted in my brother buying me a PS3. I'm playing through Metal Gear Solid 4 right now and have the first Resistance afterwards. I've had a 360 for years though and love to play the Assassins creeds, EA's NHL series, Saints Row, among others.

I do wonder if kids that had the "first gen" of texting mobile phones in the early 2000's will be different from kids that get a mobile phone with a full keyboard today. I can almost understand when you had a crappy phone with three letters and a number on 1 key, or even T9 word, but today, it's almost just as easy to type on a mobile phone as it is on a keyboard. I'm going to put my check in the "it only gets worse" column. My niece, 13, has a full keyboard but is purposely spelling incorrectly now. Example: "qoenq two da mewveezz wit da frendz twonite" is apparently "going to the movies with the friends tonight" now my niece is a very smart girl and I know that she knows better, but it pisses me off when she does this. -

Check out Hershey Parks FB, lots of GP idiocy regarding the unfortunate situation with the bison and I'm seeing the word "murderers" a lot. Always makes me wonder, yes I understand animal rights and to an extent I'm for them, but what would you have rather seen? They did their best to get the animals to safety and Mother Nature struck too quick. They had two options, watch as the two bison struggled out of the employees reach or make it quick and painless. Not an easy decision I'm sure. -

I was going to say the transitions gave me a nice pop too. I do enjoy the quick direction changes and leaning into the curves, on any coaster for that fact. I need to get my A$$ to KD and check out I305, bad.
