Place was packed. Parking in the gravel or dirt lot. Plenty of buses running to main gate so non issue getting to front of the park from gravel in a timely fashion. Don't forget its a Bring A Friend free Mon-Wed this week the 22nd-24th for season pass holders. Wind came up around 1pm very slight and X2 was still running at 4pm under stronger winds.

I don't think Saturday the 6th should be to bad. There is a Jamz Cheer and Dance going on all day and gates open at 8:30 am. Even though gates open early i don't think rides will start to function until regular opening time of 10:15. Not sure if you need a special ticket to enter that early so its on you to find that out. As far as Flash or Gold pass I would play it by ear as your just a single and take advantage of single rider lines you just might knock out the park in under 3 hours. Just enter early and beast on FulThro or X2 or Tatsu, or Goliath, really should be good day and seems only discount that day is pass holders can bring a guest for $35 so not a deal by any means.

How are the crowds today? I am taking my kid there tomorrow, and hoping for Sunday lite, but worried due to holiday weekend. Thanks. Its Saturday 2:50 (about) California time and I just got home from SFMM. Its about 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky nor a wisp of wind. Tons and Tons of buses with Friday Teen night (on a sat?) event, Choral Magic group , and Life Teen group . Not many families with strollers but all these teens in pockets of groups just being teens. Superman seems down and I never saw X2 running but doesn't mean its not. Sunday the weather should be the same and another Special event called Dance Fest and unsure how many this group brings. Park is open limited hours until 6pm and overall should be low attendance day . And I don't think this is considered a Holiday Weekend as SFMM is closed Monday but open Tuesday.

Are the lines long for X2 and Tatsu? Trying to gauge the average wait time. Last time I was there on a Saturday (2 weekends ago).... they were 90-120 minute waits each!!! :/ Tatsu was about a 1 hr wait quite some time ago, Cant recall if I even saw X2 running not sure if it was. No waiting for Orient or Grand Carousal.

Just got home from SFMM and pretty good sized crowd but lots of family's with little kids. I would guess most of those family's wont be staying for FF but might just be there to Trick or Treat in Bugs world with Bugs and Daffy, which concludes at about 4pm. If your not going for the mazes then the park should be doable as it is a school night. The wind was up this morning and not sure if it limited any rides from opening but the wind has since died down. I'm going to head back to SFMM around 8pm and do the 3 mazes up front, Toyz, Reds, and 666 then funnel cake and close out the night at the Golden Bear with Suzy Haner. Hunt me down if you make it by.

This is slightly off topic, but is there an efficient way to get from Burbank airport to Valencia? We were just going to Uber/Taxi there, but if there's another (cheaper) method, I'm willing to do it, as we did not want to rent a car. Good gosh rent a car son Hotwire has em for under $15 and Burbank is sweetest place to rent and drop off cars.

I don't think it will be overly crowded for the rides ... but .... there is a Cheer Squad qualifier for a thing called JAMZ and I think they come to park earlier then the sun coming up so perhaps the parking lot might be a little busy and being there at 9:50 wont get you front row but should still be good. IT should not be to crowded and most the cheer squads will be focused by the cheer moms on their performances.

The way it works is that you buy your discounted season pass online, print the receipt and head off to the park (tell the parking guy that you'll be upgrading to gold and they'll let you park for free). Trust me, Trust me, Trust me Your getting no parking from the parking guy at toll gate until you either pay cash or charge or present your gold parking season pass. Showing your piece of paper is nothing until it has been processed and that covers parking. Your best bet is allow some time and pull into guest pick / up drop / off area and drop a person off and have them go get their gold season pass and come back to car and let that person then go take the car and park it in parking lot while the other person gets their season gold pass and meets you back at a predetermined area.
