I was there yesterday (fri 4/16) and around 3pm I looked and saw the tallest crane placed over the first drop and it had a flag on the top of the crane and I had thought they were mounting the flag that I think means it has been completed. Upon leaving a cpl hours later there was no sign of the flag so perhaps they were just fitting the flag. Perhaps soon perhaps soon.

My original post was from Monday stating it was a good day. Yesterday - Tuesday was the bad day. Just the opposite of Monday. Today Wednesday could be bad with the high wind warnings issued. Least the I-5 north has finally been reopened as it had been limited for about 6 hours at Calgrove north. Should be many late SFMM workers. And yes Mark Kriski (KTLA) sure is saying some really epic winds will be rolling through around noon. All I know is I wont park near a tree or a crane. Always can go and do Bugs World and just have a throw back Wed.

Fire / Smoke was non issue and was put out in about 30 minutes. It was about 2/3 miles north of Six Flags and on other side of freeway. DJeXel what you doing are you hanging out a window of the Sunkist building? Heck if so put up a live web cam pointed about about 45 degrees further left and lets watch Lex Luther Drop of Doom.

Today Saturday was a tough day starting out with a full freeway closure of I-5 around 9:45. It took some time (paper says 1 hr) to get it all cleaned up and get to SFMM. This accident was at Calgrove North and sort of like no mans land with no off ramps behind it except back about 5 miles to Roxford or re-direct to the 14. Oh well enough about that. It was Hot.... It was crowded .... Its was fun

I dont think you will win this. If your at SFMM it will be busiest day ever, if your not at SFMM it will be the slowest day ever. It will be warm I can tell you that, so bring water. Same day is LA Marathon and I actually know people running in it and going to watch people running in it. Most Sundays the crowd doesn't really start arriving until between 11-2 so if its in your best interest to be "that guy" waiting for the Toll Gate to open (most times it opens by 9:35 am) and for about the first 90 minutes really have a good shot at the rides. If you have a gold pass seek out the early entrance line. If you have a Discover Card seek out the early entrance line. If you have neither smack your self twice and ask why and then join the GP and keep your elbows up. Bottom line it should be a great day except for the projected 92 degrees.

Great Pics... Great Pics... Great pics So much time is spent by several people postings these pics and I thank you. I see more in these pics then I see first hand with it right in front of me. The green track just looks sick... really sick. So much progress this past week that I cant wait to see it again next week. Thanks again for the pics.

any pictures are good pictures. I didn't see many workers this past fri-sun on twisted and drive past it 200 times without much change. Today Monday the 5th the park was a ERT dream with temps in the mid 70s and very low turnout of guests. Temps are the same all week. Here is leftover shot from Sunday Holiday in Park.
