Yes it was crowded and SFMM extended the park hours 30 minutes to 12:30am. The "Toll Booth Area Parking" is set up as a "guest pick up area" and works pretty good as huge amount of local people are dropped off for the day and all seem to be picked up at the same time. Good idea to forgo the mazes as Saturday you might have done 2 within 5 hours or 3 at the most... tonight will be final night and should be better and should be able to get all 8 mazes in under your belt in the 4 hours. Perhaps you could have saved time doing to Single Rider line for LLDOD.

Only day I saw busier than this was that one day in july that was SPH free friend day. Yes that free friend day in July was just sick. ... This app is a joke though and is only as good as the person doing the update. Today the park is crowded... way crowded... very very way crowded. Sunday should be great day with early crowd arrival just wonder if the Stanley Cup being on display in the fountain area will be making people come to the park to try to get a photo with it. And then tomorrow for Freight fest the first 30 min season pass holders have priority for "aftermath" the maze... but doesn't the whole world by now have a season pass? And for this Saturday and next the Express Pass for the maze was $25 but for Saturdays now its $40. Place is packed... great night for people watching.

Long as ticket reads for no blackout dates or expired then ticket should be fine regardless of where you got it. Also buy your maze wristband online at Six Flags web site for $10 regardless of being a season pass holder or not and print out the page and present outside of Flags store inside park for wristband for the mazes.

My fav attraction by far. Just try to notice that the elevator is working prior to heading up the hill as they seem to only have 1 person working the attraction. So if its at the top with guests it might be upwards of 10/15 minutes before it returns to the bottom to make pick ups. So it might appear/be closed unless you saw the lift working. Also heads up for this Saturday the 29th as the park looks like it has private party Sat night and will close to the public at 6:00pm.

Today was hot ... Cars parked in the gravel but not to deep.... Caught one of the final shows of Warner Brothers Kids Club at current location, as might be relocated to other area of the park, last show might be Monday.....What the Fried also might be final day tomorrow Sunday to grab a Dole Whip... Couple of canopies & tables set up at main gate being used by some groups for Will Call ... Took my favorite Sky Tower run and epic as always then called it a day.

Okay .. T.I. that sounds about right. We use to play the basketball toss across from that building but not sure if we ever went in. I was just thinking out-loud on making it a entrance as unless I have my parks messed up aren't they going to be allowing season pass holders in 30 minutes earlier then the general ticket holders? IF so I was thinking season pass needs their own entrance.

Its a LAUSD Unassigned day No School for Students and Staff (Holiday) and on SFMM main page on right hand side they boast they are open school holidays (under weekend tab). Not sure it will play to huge turnout as all Santa Clarita schools are in session so might be late arrive crowd after SCV schools start letting out around noon.

I must say I'm surprised to read you would be using a "Flashpass". I had thought by all your postings in here you are a seasoned SFMM person and would not need to use these as you have done it all. Yesterday (Labor Day Mon) didn't seem that busy and most of my party did all they chose to with little effort. Keep up the great postings.

New perks for the Gold Pass: - Free Parking on every pass - Free Parking at every Six Flags park - Extra "Bring a Friend" days (these are in addition to the bring a friend days offered on the regular pass) - VIP Early Entry to Magic Mountain (Begins in 2013) - VIP Early Entry to Hurricane Harbor (Begins in 2013) If you are buying less than 4 passes or after January 6th the Gold Pass will be $114.99 or $10.45 per month. Still a great deal. Yup longest line at park today hasn't been X2 or Tatsu its been season pass processing .... plan ahead and bring a good book to read while in line.

Hmmm... well ty for the rough drawing Well I am just hoping that it will produce air time!!! I'm by far not a expert in terminology on coasters but the word "Airtime" is tossed around in here a bunch and I just want to make sure you are on the same idea on what "airtime" is. I found the following on coaster terms site. Airtime When a coaster train crests a hill at high speeds, riders typically rise from their seats for a free-floating few seconds. Most coaster fanatics crave airtime and consider it to be exhilarating. There are two types of airtime: floater air, AKA, that "butterflies in your stomach" sensation, and the more violent ejector air, which catapults riders out of their seats (but doesn't actually eject them because of the safety restraints).

We were at SFMM today until we got booted out as private party was taking over from 6pm. We went on Sky Tower at 5:50 and sling shot parts were still sitting there near Apocalypse. We then went down and walked on Ninja and and when we exited security was making us take Orient Express down to exit the park. We made attempt to go see the Hypnotist Show with Suzy Haner (her son is in the rock group Avenged Sevenfold) at the Golden Bear, but security had set up a wall of death prior to Moose Burger lodge and we needed yellow wrist band's to get past em.... So oh well Headed back around to exit and the line for a Funnel Cake was off the chart almost stretching half way to Guest Relations which was also packed with pissed people who were upset the park was closing at 6pm (mind u a friday)... again ... oh well. We had a blast prior at Hurricane Harbor in the wave pool and Castaway Lagoon but that's another link ... see ya

I'm heading into the parks tomorrow and will try to take notice of employees using cells or texting as its a big no-no and automatic termination for doing so. I have never noticed this as a issue while in the parks before but then i don't ride Goliath as you have singled out. Seem's like it wont be a issue inside Hurricane Harbor at least on water rides as even I wont pull my phone out around water, but I will trek into SFMM and look around for cell phone abuse as might just be a good day to people watch and drink water. We only go on a few rides Carousel, Orient Express, and Sky Tower but i shall keep my eyes open.

Heading to SFMM in about a hour to see the hypnotist show at Golden Bear. Word is place is PACKED PACKED PACKED .... but is what it is... might go on Sky Tower for a sunset ride ... How about a zip line from Sky Tower ... lower level is open isn't it and would be easy for platform to be placed and zip to lets say towards old Deja Vue area then back to base of sky tower.
