RIP - Rattlesnake (was Ladybird)
Sportsdude360 replied to Picto81's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The first coaster I ever rode was The Big Dipper at Spring Lake in OKC. Both the coaster and the park are long since defunct. -
Plenty of room. Study the pictures and video from the Topping Off Event. There's a couple of different types of rides and or attractions that could fit there. There is plenty of room around inside the park . They could put a b&m flying coaster or wing coaster, Larson superloop, intamin launched coaster like kingda ka and top thrill dragster, or a flat like hurricane force five at six flags fiesta texas. I would be shocked if we got an Intamin Launched Coaster. But if we did, I would definitely prefer something like Maverick over a Kingda Ka clone.

It's interesting to note that SFOT and SFFT were the first two parks to recieve the RMC conversions. You'd think that if anything it would be SFMM and SFGADV first on the list. I believe SFM also got RMC Medusa before SFMM got Twisted Colossus. Makes no sense. And now it looks as if SFSTL won't be getting any RMC goodness at all. This is a truly sad state of affairs.

^What use could they possibly have for a derelict old building, except possibly for storage. I still think it's an eyesore and it should be gotten rid of. That land should be cleared and re-themed to Gotham. Additional flat rides and/or gift shops or possibly even a new eatery could be placed there. Joker's Burger Shack anyone?

Considering SFNE and SFGAm haven't even begun construction on theirs yet, I would say SFOT may be planning to open theirs a tad sooner than either of those two parks. It doesn't make a lot of sense to have a completed ride sitting around collecting dust for about 4 months. If indeed that is the plan.

Yeah, I don't think they'd complete the ride and then let it sit around for three months collecting dust. But I can't help but wonder why they decided not to wait for Memorial Day. It seems that the other two parks (SFNE and SFGAm) that are receiving these rides haven't even begun construction yet except for footers.

I like the Joker's location at SFOT much better than at SFNE. I also like the Gotham City section at SFOT much better as well. Once the planned expansion over the next several years is complete, the Gotham City section at SFOT will be the best at any SF park. That being said, I think Joker will fit in well here at SFNE next to Batman. And, well, at least we're getting new coasters.

Personally, I think it fits in well with the Riddler and Catwoman in the Gotham City section. Now we have Batman, Mr.Freeze, Harley Quinn, Riddler, Catwoman and Joker. The whole thing makes perfect sense. Remember when we all thought we were going to get a Larson Loop themed for the Joker? Well, this is much better. IMHO
