  1. Will this thing be 400ft plus, like the ones at SFOT and SFNE?
  2. ^ Wow! I was expecting SFM to get an S&S 4d Free Spin.
  3. That looks to be Hurricane Force 5 at SFFT. It was the first Disk'O ride at any SF park. They are a lot of fun and a fine addition to any park's flat ride line up.
  4. If your referring to the Catwoman Whip ride at SFOT, it's a Zamperla Endeavor 48. They're actually a lot of fun, just don't ride it right after you've eaten. If you know what I mean!
  5. ^ Well, SFOT got one last year, so it makes sense.
  6. I predict SFOT will receive both a Larson Loop and a Disk'O to enhance their ever growing flat ride collection. Also, to me, Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth, sounds like it could be a Zamperla Endeavor ride. I wonder if any other SF park's will be getting a Zamperla Giant Discovery like the one SFOT received.
  7. I was thinking, initially, that you guys would be getting the same flat ride package that we got here at SFOT. Namely, a Zamperla Giant Discovery (Riddler) and/or Endeavor 48 (Catwoman). For what it's worth, SFOT is, apparently, also receiving a Disk-O for 2017. However, it seems we're also getting a Larson Loop as a companion piece for the Disk-O. I'm not sure why SFSTL is getting just one flat at a time, instead of flat packages like SFOT and SFFT, respectively. But maybe 2018 will be the year for bigger investments at both parks. In the meantime, both parks can take pride in having great flat ride collections!
  8. Keep in mind here that SFOT will be known for having the best collection of flat rides at any SF park! And 2018 could be the year they're planning to build us a new coaster! I know everyone wants an RMC T-Rex Giga or some such. But I would personally love to see us get an RMC Mega-Lite using the new Raptor track!
  9. ^I agree! Nothing wrong with having the best collection of flat rides at any SF park!
  10. ^The rides have been identified as Mr Freeze, Batman, Catwoman Whip and Harley Quinn Spinsanity. All current rides at SFOT. The only one that doesn't correlate is the one in the upper right of the image. That one appears to be a Larson Super Loop.
  11. ^Absolutely!! The Joker theme is the only way to go. And it will be great having a large selection of flat rides in the Gotham area.
  12. Yeah, I agree. When placed next to Riddler and Catwoman, it seems a perfect fit. And there's nothing wrong with having a large selection of flat rides to choose from.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/sixflagsovertexas/?pnref=story SFOT has just posted this teaser on their FB page. Trevor Eitel of Texas Thrillseekers has closely inspected this video. It would seem to indicate that we are going to receive a Larson Super Loop themed for the Joker.
  14. Well, if we're getting used bumper cars for our new attraction, then SFOT has reached a new low in disappointment.
  15. Just heard about this. Prayers go out to the family.
  16. ^ So the boy was seated in front? And his headless body slid down the flume behind the raft? That means his restraints must have failed. It also explains all the blood in the run off area.
  17. I have long said that Judge Roy Scream should be torn down and replaced with something better.
  18. I would like to express my shock and horror at this tragedy. My prayers are with the family.
  19. Well, if it is an RMC, how about Mean Streak: Steel Coaster?
  20. ^^ That's true! The Discovery swings at 70mph when at maximum. The Evolution ride experience would have some similarities to that of the Discovery, but also some marked differences. I see nothing wrong with having both rides in your park. And since you already have a Huss Enterprise, it's virtually guaranteed that you'll never recieve a Zamperla Endeavor. The only reason SFOT got one was because they needed something to replace the old Spinnaker.
  21. ^ I presume you mean Excalibur. Actually, a Giant Discovery, while similar, would be different enough to warrant adding one to the park. Also, the Discovery would be brand new as opposed to a ride that's been relocated several times. I assume you already know Excalibur was originally a European carnival ride and was far from new when you recieved it. As for Endeavor, the only ride I can think of that would be similar is a Huss Enterprise. If you have one, then no, you won't likely recieve an Endeavor.
