  1. ^I am sure the trailer is amazing, but I don't want to watch it, because a lot of trailers give out or ruin scenes for me! I can't wait till this comes out! And since I am in the States already, I don't have to wait 6 months later to see it!
  2. I didn't know this, but I was reading something on Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, and apparently... they worked together and were called "Gouryella". After about a year together, Tiesto decided to pursue a solo career and so did Ferry Corsten. I'm so glad they did, because their music is really different from one another! But in a good way! And you're totally right... Daft Punk live =
  3. I love stumbling upon parks that I've never heard of before... Xetul looks great! Hey, is that Intamin looper, Avalanche, essentially a clone of Colossus at Thorpe Park (minus two extra inline twists)? The layouts look pretty similar! Great pictures by the way!
  4. I went to this carnival the other day near my college, and almost everything I rode was extremely uncomfortable for me. I am 1.82 meters (I think this is about 6 feet and 2 inches tall) and I have problems all the time with coasters. The restraints often push against my shoulders and it is very uncomfortable. Because of my height, I stay away from all coasters built by Arrow or Vekoma because I never seem to fit comfortably in their trains. My sister, on the other hand, is 1.52 meters (I think this is 5 feet 3 inches or maybe shorter) and she does not like coasters because there is too much space between the restraints and her chest and she often hits herself repeatedly. I love roller coasters and consider myself definitely a fan of them, but it's sometimes hard because for a lot of rides, I just don't find them enjoyable because of the massive bruises that I might get afterwards. Does anyone else seem to have this problem?

  6. ^Heh...? You think so? No one has every told me that before...! Thanks for the compliment
  7. Ferry Corsten is one of the best DJ's around... also from the Netherlands. image 147.bmp Beautiful - Ferry Corsten
  8. ^^Yes, Tiesto really knows how to put on a good show... that's why SO many people go to see him! For his "Elements of Life" tour in 2007, he incorporated fire, water, and laser shows all at the same time. It's brilliant, really! It's aesthetically so pleasing to the eyes. What makes a Tiesto show great, (besides from the music, obviously!!) is the lights. You just want to get up with your best mates and daaaanceeeee...! "Traffic" with fireworks...! Yeah, but I definitely think you should see him live when you are old enough (Actually, I think the age is probably 21+ for Tiesto in the States, since they almost always serve alcohol there). If you're a fan of Tiesto, check out Ferry Corsten too! He's also very good!
  9. School is going wonderfully for me right now. Classes are definitely challenging (medical terms in German are hard enough! Now, I have to learn them again in English!) but I love the college life at Dartmouth. American college students are so much more fun than German university students! I don't understand how Americans do it... there is always SO much to do for university, but they still manage to go out every weekend until 5 or 6 in the morning! I can't keep up!
  10. Elaeudania Téitéia - Jane Birkin Really into French music at the moment...
  11. Good idea, but I don't know if I could go a whole day without speaking!!
  12. ^Nice pictures! Here are some pictures of me and new friends I've made in New Hampshire from last weekend! me and my american roommate drinking German beer! my parents sent me a case through the mail! smoking is bad, yes! I know! me on the left, my roommates, and my ex (the guy second from the right) haha. I love this picture. my sister (in the middle) and me... she came to visit me in New Hampshire this week!
  13. Not a big fan of the new designs of the trains, but the coaster itself looks GREAT! From the video, I saw trims on every hill though... were they on?
  14. ^Maybe you could just tell her to eat more eggs (not sure if that's still considered vegetarian) but some of my vegetarian friends do that, to get the proper amount of protein. I do think your wife's situation is very interesting. It just goes to show how eating meat, for some of us, is a necessity... and not 'murder.'
  15. Camille - La jeune fille aux cheveux blancs
  16. Except in black... They are called T-qualizer shirts. They move to the bass of whatever music is being played at the moment. Getting ready to go out to a concert tonight!
  17. ^Glad to see another electronica music fan among here! I think we're the only two! You should definitely see him in concert, the shows he puts on are just incredible. Videos don't do it justice. Really, they don't! But I think you still need to wait a few years! All of his concerts are either 18+ in Europe and 21+ in the States...
  18. Newly single...and love it. Relationships are great, but having fun is something I'm definitely more interested in right now!
