I understood exactly what you meant about the drop. I wanted to do that, but I didn't know if it was acceptable on older B&M style coasters. The corkscrews were rearranged to fit the layout. -

Do I see the bill passed? Honestly yes, only because the politicians in this country don't know how to run a country as big as the U.S. They are corrupt, they don't care about us, and they only want our taxpayer money. The first line in the U.S Constitution is "We the People of the United States," yet they don't ask us about how we care about this law. We are the People, so we should have say about what happens in Capital Hill. Obama might not have support for the bill, but if two-thirds of Congress do, then our only hope would be that the Supreme Court deny their bill. If Congress does pass the bill then they, as our representatives, have failed to do the one thing that they were elected to do: represent the People of the United States. -

On Robb's POV of Goliath at SFOG: So, how do you say that when SFOG is older than Magic Mountain. Plus, SFOG is at least a park where none of the coasters are in a parking lot. And then there's this classic: How do you watch the POV then ask if there is a loop or not? -

Thrill Gardens (RCT2)
simaticable replied to simaticable's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Wow, this park has not been updated in a while. Let's just say that this park has been seriously reworked. Most of the rides have been moved around and themed areas have been or will be added. _________________________________________________________________________________________ January 6, 1996 Four years have passed, and Thrill Gardens will remain closed until the season starts in May. The park closed unexpectedly to renovate the rides and put them in organized areas. The cause of Samurai's fire was a faulty electrical plug that had frayed wires and caused a fire. The families of the victims did not file a lawsuit, and the park did not receive a heavy fine. One new ride was added to bring in more guests. A B&M standup roller coaster was brought into the park after Samurai's departure and was kept secret until recently when early pictures of the layout were released. The layout was modified to our discretion. We hope Dragon Fury will be a great addition to Thrill Gardens. More trees and a giant lake were added to the park to give the park a more relaxed feel. Gardens are being put into the park as well. Andrew Bennet has stated that new rides can come again now that Forest Thrills is underway and is stable with financial capabilities. A new ride for 1997 will be announced soon, but until then enjoy the pictures of the new Thrill Gardens. Security shacks were added in case children get separated from their parents and security guards will be there in case a fight or other acts of crime occur. There are one in each of the new areas: Thunder Way, Thrills Pass, and the Midway. New shops will be added to the Midway as time goes on. The subway lines were removed due to constant breakdowns. Splash Falls will be added back into the park in a year or two. We had to remove the ride to create an expansion area for next season. SCR6.BMP Overview of Midway. Hey guys! Thrill Gardens will be back within the next few minutes. More details of the resurrection on Thrill Garden's page. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ January 6, 1996 Forest Thrills has announced an expansion to the current Mining Town area. Two new rides have been added to make Mining Town larger. Both are located next to Forest Mining Co. An elevator ride called Mine Lift, and a shaking ride called Minequake will join the coaster as the two new flats to Forest Thrills. At the top of Mine Lift, shops will be added, so guests could shop and eat with a nice view of the entire park. Next year's teaser: "It's fast, it's tall, and it will take your breath away! Get ready because you will never know when it will arrive!" SCR3.BMP Overview of new rides SCR4.BMP Overview of Mining Town SCR5.BMP Park overview -

I like your park, but a couple of things need to occur to make it better. The lake: drop the level by one and make the transition more smoothly. The water should not be on the same level as the land as that poses a flooding problem if this was a real park. Also flowers are nice, but put more variety, and try to break it up some, and add double path wherever possible, so paths wouldn't be crowded with a lot of people in this park. Also room for expansion seems to be squished by the amount of rides in one area. I would try to distance them more if you could, but if you don't then ignore the comment. And if you could, make your buildings less blocky as it looks unrealistic. I am not trying to be mean, but more realistic instead. -
Forest Thrills (RCT2)

Happy New Year, TPR! Have a safe, healthy, and happy 2012! Wow, it's been a while since the last post, and I am very sorry that I couldn't continue this park for a while. Many events have occurred that disabled me from continuing, and now I am able to continue where I left off. I had finals, went to Chicago, had no internet, and now I am stuck in the North Georgia Mountains. Bad news: Thrill Gardens will be on hiatus because I can't think of any more ideas for the park. Anyways, on to the first update of Forest Thrills of 2012. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ May 19, 1995 So, where to begin. I redid everything in the park. I changed the layout of Forest Pass to create the area for the new Mining Town. Mining Town currently holds Forest Mining Co. which is an Arrow Mine Train. Even though a fire caused one of Arrow's creations at Thrill Gardens to be removed, we thought that Arrow had no fault in the fire, so we contacted them for a new creation. The railroad was removed, but rumors have started that there could be a monorail system or a rail system at the park soon. The Bumpers Cars received a new building. We have made a partnership with McDonald's in order to provide fast food to the park. Turnstiles were added to the entrance of the park. SCR9.BMP Overview of new coaster and area. Expansion planned for future seasons. SCR10.BMP New Bumper Cars building.
