  1. Wow you ARE REALLY rude and obnoxious. If you're going to criticize someone dont bash them while doing it. Seriously you need to stop with your bad attitude. Your park does need the theming though, and try to make more theming instead of more coasters. (Worm realize that I'm the same age as you and I'm acting far more mature than you did)
  2. I remember that ride from when I was around 4. It was one of my first "big" coasters along with the now removed Jet Star. Gosh I havent been there in so long, but now since my aunt moved by there, I can finally go there for the first time in 10 years.
  3. The Coney Island Cyclone - opened 6/26/1927 The Dragon (Rye Playland) - opened 1929 Kiddie Coaster (Rye Playland) - opened 1928
  4. I've been thinking that as well. They havent broken that record yet, I'm pretty sure at least, and there is a LOT of space there.
  5. Speaking of Playland Park, I went there yesterday and the Dragon Coaster is incredibly smooth for an old woodie and I love the floater airtime in the back on the first drop. As for coaster eras, I would go back to Playland and ride the Airplane Coaster. It looks like it kicked your butt, in a good way that is.
  6. I dont know if anyone said this but could it be possible for them to build an Intamin dueling type of coaster? "If you put two and two together."
  7. S:UF - Got stuck in "flying" position in the station for 10 minutes. (This Year) Rolling Thunder - Got stuck on the brake run for a good 20 minutes. (8 years ago)
  8. Oh yeah one more...me and my friends were on S:UF. As we came into the station the charis wouldnt go down for a good 10 minutes. I still laugh at the sound everyone made as the ride op said, "We are having technical difficulties we will bring you down shortly."
  9. Because the fat lady did too. Who's line is it anyway?
  10. I tripped up the stairs going on to Nitro and everyone started staring at me.

  13. My real name is Robert...but everyone calls me Bobby.
  14. ^As well as Panic at the Disco! Worst - Crash Gwen Stefani I heard it on the radio once and I HAD to shut it off.
  15. On Supercoasters on the National Geographic Channel, they showed men going through a g-force test. None of them wore those masks and they had to pull at least 10 g's (I'm pretty sure) for a sustained period of time. So I'm pretty sure g-forces WILL NOT gouge your eyes out.
  16. ^So what make you think that we'd know if the park doesnt even know itself?
  17. Ouch that zero g-roll reminds me of SFgadv's Viper inversion: http://rcdb.com/ig33.htm?picture=1
  18. Mine's no longer private...I think... http://www.myspace.com/hcosurfer90
  19. Long Island is doing fine.
  20. Mine are: 1. El Toro 2. Lightning Racer 3. Coney Island Cyclone Golden Tickets (most likely): 1. Voyage 2. Thunderhead 3. Hades Mitch's (most likely) 1. Balder 2. Voyage 3. El Toro Just my opinion folks...
  21. Can you guys stop arguing? Ok I dont have no limits but the ride can use some work judging by the video of banked turns. Try to smooth out those transitions as well, a little criticism never hurt anyone. Oh yeah, and I really liked the ice-themed station.
  22. Ok here it goes: My mom, my friends mom, 4 friends and I arrived at the park around 9:45, just in time for the entrance show. They really need to shorten this or make a section for those who would like to see it because a lot of people were getting impatient (I could tell by the look on their faces). Then they dropped to rope and ZOOM, my friends and I sprinted to what we thought would be our first ride, El Toro. When we got there it was closed . So we then ran to Kingda Ka. We got on line and saw that we would be the 3rd ride in the second train. Me and my friend, Colleen, got in line for the incredibly short line for the second row. After a short breakdown with the switch track, the first 2 rides were off, when it started to pour. We waited a good 30 minutes and 2 test cycles (including a rollback) until they re-opened it. We get on and approached the launch track, where we see my mom and my other friend, Sam (they chickened out). The airhorn wasnt working so we didnt know when we were to launch, until we lurched back and ZOOM, we were off. At the top I see the little cars rolling by and think to myself, "this drop is impossible". What an amazing dive and after that an awesome speed hill. 9/10 - 2nd seat made my ride. Next up was Superman, since we knew it was going to be a long line. However it wasnt bad, only an hour (which was the longest we waited that day I might add). Me got my mom and Sam on the ride this time. We boarded 2nd row again (Me, Sam, Colleen's mom, and my mom) and the seat went up. My mom isnt a big fan of heights so she started screaming at that point . The only great part of this ride is the pretzel loop (which was the only part my mom didnt like) and my friends and my mom LOVED it, until there was a technical difficulty and we were left stranded in flying position for 10 minutes. 7/10 - Pretzel Loop is the best My friend Sam wanted to go on GASM but my friends didnt because of the roughness (they've been on it before) so I joined her on it. Walk-on for the front seat so we got that. It was still rough, OUCH. 5/10 - Front seat didnt even help At that point we saw that El Toro has opened so we rushed over there. My friends didnt want to ride it they said it looked "boring" and "uninteresting". I was like wow... So me and my mom waited the hour long wait and got on the 2nd to last car, first row. We get to the lift and my mom's already screaming. We went up, FAST. I looked at the drop and thought "jeez that's REALLY steep. We went down and WHOA, I'm lifted out of my seat for the entire drop, and it didnt let up then, it kept going. The cross-over was INSANE though, it was the most extreme moment of airtime in my life. And the twister finale was awesome as well. 10/10 - The only time I was a little scared of a coaster Next we get on B: TR, now the 2nd most intense ride in the park (first being El Toro of course). We waited only 15 minutes for this ride which is pretty good. The girls infront of us though that they could fit 5 people in one row so they got on and were like WAIT A SEC. You would've that they would've seen the 4 row train. We got on and it is still intense after a good 13 years. 8/10 - For its intensity We lined up for Nitro afterward. Only a 30 minute wait. Unfortunatly, the trims were on heavy for this ride so I didnt get the floater airtime I had wanted to get. I had tunnel vision on the helix showing that it was pretty intense still with trims on. The bunny hops also has a decent amount of floater airtime. 9/10 - Would've been 10 but the trims ruined it a little We headed over to Medusa and that also had a very short line (about 15 minutes). This ride REALLY needs a repaint BADLY. We got on and went up the lift. The ride kicked a**. It was awesome, the loop, the zero g roll, EVERYTHING. Everyone thought that was the ride of the day until... We went on El Toro again, but now 2/4 friends didnt want to go on, they wanted to ride the Mine Train instead (wow). We got on what was supposed to be an hour long wait and turned into only a 25 minute wait . Me and Colleen got on the backseat and prepared for an awesome ride. It was SO much better than my first ride! The airtime was still amazing sustained ejector air and it never let up. It is now my moms, Colleen's mom, Colleen, and my #1 ride ever. We loved it. 15/10 - It can go over the limit due to amazing airtime and 1st drop. Overall we had a very good day. Crowds didnt get bad at all, and we got on most of the rides we had wanted to go on (stupid Chiller for being closed). Cant wait to go again this Fall!
