  1. I've been thinking, what if "in a whole new direction" meant backwards instead of going forwards. They could have 2 trains, maybe one backwards and one forwards giving "in a whole new direction" meaning. Probably not true but it would be a good idea IF the ride was smooth.
  2. Now I'm leaning towards a looper, but it seems as if it will have lots of turns and curves since almost all the track so far are curved pieces.
  3. I'm pretty sure we have a topic ike this already.
  4. I love the Windstorm models like the one at my home park Adventureland.
  5. I know for a fact they did a pull through on Balder. Here are the pics courtesy of RCDB: http://rcdb.com/ig1562.htm?picture=19

  7. ^Color still doesnt mean anything, you could have a red aqua trax or a yellow or a green or whatever, it doesnt have to be white. So can you still give me proof?
  8. How about this one: CP track: http://www.funcoast.com/popup?id=11583&img_id=3#media Aqua Trax Track: http://rcdb.com/ig1646.htm?picture=10 Both are triangular so it doesnt rule out an aqua trax and if it does, please tell me how.
  9. ^Yeah I know it's nothing like Jubilee Odyssey's . Anyway, I'd have to day Black Mamba hands down.
  10. Why are most people complaining that CP might get an Aqua Trax? I mean seriously, if it is an Aqua Trax I think it would be awesome. It would be the first of its kind in the US and it could have such a unique layout. In fact, I wouldn't mind if I kept seeing more of them popping up all over the US. By the looks of the one in Lotte World, they look really fun.
  11. From pics I've seen, they don't really look like the trains on Balder and Colossus. I'm pretty sure they have U-Bars instead of T-Bars.
  12. ^Go to GADV Source and look there. Their information is pretty good and of course informal.
  13. Actually, from what I've been hearing, KK might be open within 1-3 weeks, so its not as major as last time.
  14. I hate stupid people . I'm supposed to go on June 28th so it better be open.
  15. Although I have never been to Cedar Point (I am going this summer though), its the rides that make the park. It seems that SFGadv has better rides overall. Rolling Thunder or Gemini - Rolling Thunder because both tracks have totally different layouts and which train wins is unpredictable (yes, I've been on it when it was racing). El Toro or Mean Streak - El Toro, no surprise there. Kingda Ka or TTD - It's hard to decide, you see TTD has the free feeling with its restrains, but Kingda Ka has the bunny hill at the end thats larger than most coasters first drops. So probably KK since the restraints on it dont effect the ride too much. Medusa or Mantis - Medusa, it seems as if Mantis is kinda rough. Runaway Mine Train or Cedar Creek Mine Ride - Both seem like fun family rides. Tie. Batman: the Ride or Raptor - I love the intensity of B:TR but Raptor seems like one awesome ride. Raptor gets my vote. As for familys, SFGadv seems like the top to go to. It has tons of new family rides to choose from as well as some great family coasters like Skull Mountain and Blackbeards Lost Treasure Train. So my vote is for SFGadv there. Overall I would say SFGadv for quality of rides and lots of variety as well. If you were to stay at a hotel, I would stay at Seaside Heights (I've gone there every year since I was about 4 and it seems like a great place to stay at.) SFGadv gets my vote obviously.
  16. I just saw a preview for a coaster show, and it looks pretty good. Its called Supercoasters its on the National Geographic Channel for those who have IO at 8:00 PM on May 29th. It looks pretty good...anyone else see the preview?
