It is a shame that Thundercoaster is running so bad this year, it was running GREAT last year The park have replied to Facebook-posts about the one train operation saying that Gravity Group have had some problems running two trains simultaneously.

One thing that amazes me is how the ride ops in Europa Park walk casually back and forth when they check the restraints without stacking and other parks can`t?

That's a shame, but the park tends to be very busy in the last week of July/first week of August. It would be put to good use if it's not too much of a hassle. The park's website states that the rides open at 10 A.M, but I know for a fact that most of the rides at the front of the park open with the park itself, and the more popular ones in the back (Rio Dorado, the log flume, Crazy Mine, Fluch) open around 9:30. Do you know if that is true for Kärnan as well? I'd like to hit it as soon as the park opens. When i was there the line opened at 10 but they where testing until 10:30

They have stopped using the single rider line unfortunately The wait time was 60 minutes the entire day from opening to closing.

Got to ride Kärnan today, what a GREAT ride! The bakcwards drop was great fun! Seemed like a lot of people didn't know about it so they where screaming like crazy The coaster is very intense and has some great airtime I did not think it was very rough, a little shuffeling here and there but nothing major, and with the comfortable restraints it did not affect the ride It seemed like the GP loved it, they where clapping and cheering on the brakerun! Can't wait to see what they will add to the ride next season

Europa park

Now that i have been in europa park for three days i can safely say that this is the best park i have been to by far! I did not think it was possible but it eceeded my expectations. And am i the only one that LOVE the way euromir and eurosat throw you into the brakerun?

In this case i think it is positive that the smiler have otsr`s think of how bad the injuries could have been with lapbars

How is this even possible Something must be seriously wrong with the computer system or could it somehow be human error?

Tomorrow it is only one week until i travel to Europa Park for the first time I am staying four nights at the hotel Colosseo and three days in the park, anyone got any tips for my first visit?

While its a shame to hear that about Colossos I still imagine it didn't hurt anywhere near as much as this! Photo taken by Hanno You are probably right

By the way Colossos is getting REALLY bumpy in the valleys and all the turns! You can literally feel every joint in the track. Still got amazing airtime thoug, such a shame it's getting a bit painful to ride

Was at the park today and I was seriously impressed! First ting that surprised me was that they had Krake open for hotel guests from 9:30, the last time i visited they didn't do that. Is this something they have started with this season? Second, i was in the queue for colossos wich had a 30 minute wait when they announced that they would add the second train for capacity reasons, they also did this to the other coasters as well so 1 hour after opening everything was running at full capacity! Bobbahn and limit was closed due to the cold weather though And scream was closed for maintenance but i had a great day anyways By the way the ride crews where great minimal stacking on all the coasters!

I am planning a trip to Orlando next year and i am wondering how the crowds are in January?

I think the tires are there incase of an emergency stop or as a block perhaps?

They are currently discussing where to locate the park. They have three alternatives and they are going to decide wich one in the beginning of november. I still can't beilieve that i am going to get a big theme park only 15 minutes from my house
