  1. Is this a kind of situation that will be fixed in a day, or it will it take multiple days? I know this is a rare event though, so if anyone has a best guess. We were planning to go on Tuesday, but it's a very long drive.
  2. Hey everybody, some of my friends and I (four of us all together) are going to be taking a trip to Cedar Point sometime soon, probably in June. We want to be able to do everything though as we live far away and will probably not be back. Does anybody have any tips for how we should ensure ourselves the chance to ride everything, or places to stay, or times to go? Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much.
  3. Thanks so much for all that detail! I sent you a PM (at least I think I did) about more stuff.
  4. Hi everybody! I'm going into my senior year of high school, so of course that means I'm looking at colleges. I'm wondering if anyone here as gone to Georgia Tech? It's near the top of my list, but I'd like to ask some people some more questions if that's possible. I can PM whomever if needed. I'd be going into engineering if that makes a difference, probably civil. Thanks!
  5. This was the first Asylum movie I've seen, and some of you have been saying others are better? I thought this was one really hilarious, which ones are even more campy and awesome?
  6. ^^ Reminds me a lot of Great Bear actually, just the extra 180 degrees or whatever is what makes it look strange.
  7. Anyone that did Dorney last year, do you remember what rides were marathoned? I remember it took them a while to get a stable page up last year too and I don't recall what rides people said they rode.
  8. I got the same thing in the mail today, thanks so much for sorting that out Robb!
  9. I sent you a PM with all this stuff in it, I don't want to clutter this thread with all of that. Thanks for noticing!
  10. I have a quick question, I'm sorry if it's been asked before. How long does it take take a Bag of Crap to come? I won one in the end of September. I don't mean to sound greedy or anything, so I'm sorry if it seems like it. I'm just wondering if I should still be looking for it and I'm seeing that people that won theirs in later months are getting them. Once again I don't mean to sound mad or anything, I think it's a great idea to do these bags of crap in the first place and I'm very thankful to Robb and Elissa for doing this.
  11. Submitted! Here's my ballot. I'm extremely interested where Skyrush will end up this year after disappointment in the Golden Ticket list. --Generator: Jordan's Ballot Helper 2012 (steel)-- --Ballot: 4040533ab11-- --alpengeistfan1@gmail.com------ LOCATION IN NEXT LINE (Please LEAVE THIS LINE IN BALLOT) ~"Pennsylvania" NAME IN NEXT LINE (Please LEAVE THIS LINE IN THE BALLOT) ~"Jack G." 12. I thought the same at first but then realized it is probably plots they placed. Who knows, maybe these plots can be moved and scaled! If some haven't noticed, you are seeing their same 'demo' park in their videos. We will have a clearer idea when we see a demo on paths and such being laid out. This is exactly what I would like to see: an open area that has had no work at all done on it. No trees placed, paths placed, or land terra-formed. I'd like to see what we're starting out with when we open up a blank map. Or at least a corner of this map that they haven't developed yet.
  13. I'm still a little worried - are those pre-determined "plots" always going to be there? They don't even seem to make much sense here because the castle is built both on and off of the plot.
  14. I believe there are two different questions here. Would more people ride it? More loops. Would it be better? Ejector airtime. Just my personal opinion.
  15. It would still be here, except it would be a site totally dedicated to donkeys and bags of crap would be literal.
  16. I was thinking the same exact thing; the play structure was the most crowded play structure I've ever been on. We waited in line like 20 minutes for one of the slides on it. Slides anywhere would obviously decrease this crowd, but still I could see them adding on to that.
  17. I am wondering the same thing, especially because it looks like that station looked almost exactly like the one in the other video.
  18. So I was thinking about getting into RCT2 again, but I had never used any hacking or anything like that at all. I did use CS though. So I was wondering if anyone knew what the basic programs for hacking and doing things like that were? I know of 8cars and parkdat, but that's it that I know of.
  19. The two most important things for me are that people are able to ride your coaster (like the RCT series) and that some amount of scenery/building is able to be done. Like making buildings/stations/queue lines/foliage. One of my favorite things about RCT was that you would be able to make the station and design the actual scenery all around the ride. The building of the ride was cool too though .

  21. That is a good point, so I'm guessing you wouldn't count this coaster?
  22. I would definitely count these as credits, because it is clear that time and effort went into making them. They didn't just lay down some "2x4s and put a shopping cart on them" (which is definitely not a credit). They probably put a lot of engineering in this ride, so I think it should be considered "legit." This is considered a credit on RCDB, so I would definitely count the two coasters above. More work went into making the coasters above (or at least the first one) than was put into this Miner Mike. So what if it's not "published," if you make beer in your backyard, it's still beer even if you don't try officially make it a business. It will definitely not be quality beer, but it will be beer nevertheless. (I'm not saying roller coasters are like beer either, two different things.) If some boardwalk were to purchase one of the rides above and put it on their boardwalk, would you call it a credit then? Nothing has changed about it, just it's location. This is just my two cents on it, not meant to offend anybody.
