Aww, yay, I was too lazy to take a picture of that power line thingy. I knew somebody would eventually take a picture of it for me. -
My View On Seasonal Parks
niiicolaaah replied to CK Media's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I take it you're from Florida? Looks like you live in the right place. Other places have seasons, and we deal with them just fine. At least the parks up north aren't abandoned, they'll open soon! -

LOL! All those coaster errors are HILARIOUS! Hopefully they will be fixed soon. Other than that, I like how the site looks and works. I like it WAY better than the old one. -
Favorite Dark Ride
niiicolaaah replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I LOVE dark rides, almost as much as I love coasters. My favorites: - Valhalla, Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Flying Witch, Rye Playland - Haunted House, Knoebel's - Gold Mine, Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Haunted Mansion, WDW - Haunted Barrel Works, Centreville (Toronto) - Laff in the Dark, Crystal Beach: this was my very first, and the first time, I cried all the way through the ride. Hey, I was little. ::EDIT:: Does Splash Mountain count as a dark ride??? If so, then that too. -

^^You take plenty of blurry pictures. You just don't post them. I have to post my blurry pics because I just don't have the patience to take another. *edit* I just wanted to make sure you know I didn't steal any of your pictures. We took a lot of the same pictures! We were standing next to each other a lot! -

Great pictures of Splash Mountain! That is totally my favorite ride at Disney now. I was also surprised that Pirates and Haunted Mansion don't have fastpass, but I guess they don't need them. Did you ride Haunted Mansion? The audio in our doom buggy totally sucked. I still love that ride, but it definitely needs a bit of TLC. -

^Well, "HAT" pretty much sums it up! Side note: we did the Little Mermaid show, it was really cute. Live actors and weird puppet thingies. -

Blackpool Pleasure Beach ADVICE?
niiicolaaah replied to Adam_C's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You can totally do Roller Coaster. It's very gentle, and until last year didn't even have any restraints. Now there is a seat belt. If I were you, I would stay away from Wild Mouse. It had a few moments that made even ME nervous, and I'll ride ANYTHING. I thought it was insanely fun, but it throws you around a lot and out of your seat almost violently a couple times. I would probably do them in this order due to your dislike of big drops: - Zipper Dipper (you've already been on it, why not?) - Space Invader (twisty fun stuff indoors!) - Avalanche (intense, but all twists and turns, no drops, very fun and short) - Steeplechase (it may be a funny seating arrangement, but I felt very secure in it. Have somebody ride on the horse with you) - Roller Coaster - Irn Bru Revolution (the whole ride is just a small drop and a loop, it would be an excellent first inverting coaster) - Big Dipper or Grand National (now we're getting into the bigger woodies) - Big One (besides the first drop, it's really slow and not intimidating at all) - Infusion... probably not a good idea, but try if you're feeling brave. - Wild Mouse.. probably not a good idea, but try if you're feeling brave. -

Funny, Rich, that's what I thought when reading your UK trip report last year! Why don't you give him a chance to post the rest of his pics before you judge? Maybe you'll find them a bit more interesting. -
