  1. With the reputation the two Giovanola hypers have for intensity, I'm bummed more of their inverters weren't purchased before they folded.
  2. Hopefully it's either Tampa Bay or Anaheim. Watching the Ray's offense since the Boston series has been tough, especially since Boston just dropped 3/4 to the mighty Orioles.
  3. Look at some of the construction pics- this coaster will indeed have magnetic brakes.
  4. This is #1 on my nonexistent (but nevertheless, valid) list of things a coaster should never need.
  5. Iron Wolf is the worst station design I can recall off the top of my head. On the plus side, if you were familiar with the design, front row waits were about the same as any other row (unless the station was empty). This was excellent for me, because I haven't ridden a B&M standup in rows 2-8 (or 7) in about a decade. Might explain why I think so highly of them.
  6. I never really ride wild mice/family coasters, so I suppose those are credits I could have had. Never really understood the whole "Going to random FECs to ride a Dragon coaster" crowd, either.
  7. If this park was purchased with the purpose of facilitating the Niners plans, then I selfishly hope to see the two B&M coasters relocated to the Midwest.
  8. My mind read this part of the post in Comic Book Guy's voice.
  9. Pearl Jam 20th Anniversary @ Alpine Valley on 9/3 and 9/4. Phenomenal.
  10. It seems like Cedar Fair has been pushing Windseekers as significant thrill attractions/a major addition, which explains why they announced a name change, new trees, and TVs in a Cabana...
  11. SFDK's Superman, followed by Leviathan and X-Flight (because its at my local Six Flags).
  12. It could be that since we've last seen a new B&M standup installed, the trains were redesigned. I see the bicycle seats and the part that goes near the waist.
  13. ^ SFGAdv doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
  14. After watching that animation, it looks like SFDK won in 2012, even with the B&M Wingriders/Giga, Iron Wolf, a 400 foot Intamin Giant Drop (non-gyro ftw!) and Intamin hyper. Wow, I hope we see more of these.
  15. Wow, that looks pretty good. Nice addition.
  16. Doesn't look like a Swarm clone with the placement of that zero-g roll. Looks like it will have the dive inversion drop though, something I expect will become typical of these wingrider coasters.
  17. Because Dorney fans are blue that this is the second hand-me-down they've gotten in a row? *ducks*
  18. Can't really argue with that logo... Dorney is getting a nice ride.
  19. Saw him with Guns 'N Roses the first time they toured with the Chinese Democracy lineup. Good stuff.
  20. Might it have something to do with the other two Batman-themed coasters at the park?
  21. This season has been from hell. Luckily for me, Plan 1A is the Philadelphia Phillies. Seriously, how is Adam Dunn having this kind of season? 12 HR is something I could see him having at the end of May, not the beginning of September. The .169 average is so bad, it's in funbad territory.
  22. Gwazi (pick a side) followed closely by Wildcat. I think these are GCI's most intense efforts by far.
  23. Unexpected, and pleasant to see this isn't a Zacspin or Eurofighter. One last hope of mine- that this isn't a clone of Raptor @ Gardaland. SFGAm is already covered in the "no-force, aimlessly meandering" coaster department (Superman).
