  1. Well, if you say 128 miles per hour and a couple more feet is different (plus a camelback), that's kinda strange. I think its really no different except for the camelback. ---Brent 8)
  2. So far Legend is the best vote by far! I should go ride it! Brent "I probably won't get to a theme park outside of Cali for another year!" Shenton 8)
  3. HOLY GRAIL KICKS! Funniest movie ever! I loved the killer bunny and the sword fight. "Ha, I cut off your arm!" "What are you talking about, that's only a flesh wound!" ---Brent 8)
  4. Now I'm listening to DDR play in the background! ---Brent 8)
  5. Carrie is the best singer on the show! Haha, Nikko got voted off! You guys are right, Carrie should belong on some other show and sing country music. Brent "I bet you her favorite singer is Tim Magra" Shenton 8)
  6. Personally, I'm 11, and when I tried this game, I hated it. The games I'm into are Halo and DDR. I also play Starcraft, Warcraft, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Crazy Taxi, Time Crisis, and House of the Dead. Brent "I hardly ever play kids games" Shenton 8)
  7. I'm currently a student and my only job is doing my chores and I get well payed off. If I do my chores, my mom lets me go to theme parks! YAY! ---Brent 8) PS: Robb you have THE coolest job!
  8. Welcome Melissa! Hope you like this place! Brent "you'll notice that we are all slobbering goo monsters that never see the light of day!" Shenton 8)
  9. Dude, that first picture of the drop rocked! To bad they had to go and revenonate the ride and screw up an awesome drop! ---Brent 8)
  10. Awesome that they opened up a resturaunt devoted to one of the best sitcoms of all time! Happy Days rocks! Brent "Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Shenton 8)
  11. Kingda Ka is an exact ( or very close to) clone of TTD, so why spend all of that money to be the first riders of it, when the cost doesn't even include airfare or rental car. Brent "I would bid if I lived in the same state as the coaster" Shenton 8)
  12. I can answer of all of your questions about the DCA ToT, but not MGM's. How many cars per shaft?: There is two cars per shaft, one loading, the other dropping. What takes you up the first stages?: There is a track that runs along the side of the elevator that runs electricity through it to push the elevators up. How does it run across the top floor: This question only pertains to the Florida version. I have heard it is rather pushed down than dropped: Actually, it is pulled down by cables hooked to the bottom of the elevator. This cannot be true for the Florida version because the Florida moves around (kind of like Freefall @ SFMM) instead of just going up and down. Any peeps got an insight?: If you need anything known, I have a friend who was an electrician for the DCA version who will be willing to answer any of your questions. Hope I was of use to you! ---Brent 8)
  13. I love Ghostrider and Colossus back seat drops (even though Colossus hurts like s***). I mean you get tons of airtime, and the rides are just great! ---Brent 8)
  14. Hey yall- The new Thrillride layout...was ummmmm...surprising. It was kind of strange, I personally like the other layout. I mean, I love Thrillride, but it was better old. And they hadn't have an update FOREVER! It was crazy! Ohterwise, Thrillride looks great ! ---Brent 8)
  15. I think I would more liek all of them, but I would have to go with inverted because that is the one with teh most ones I've been on. ---Brent 8)
  16. I also wanted to know where to get coaster posters, but now you have supplied me with many ways to get them. I want a Xcelerator poster of the launch above my head. The only two posters I have are for movies, Guess Who and Hitch. ---Brent 8)
  17. Great humor, no buffet . That's all I care about (oh and ERT)! Looks like those guys have done it again wtih their great comedy goodness. I wonder if people are so stupid they will actually go to a coaster event that won't happen! ---Brent 8)
  18. That looks extremely digusting! I would never eat that thing, even if my life depended on it (well, maybe)! ---Brent 8)
  19. Hey yall- I can only help you out about the Disney stuff because I went on Friday. The only things closed at DL are Space Mountain (July 17) and Jungle Cruise (any idea when it's opening?). There was nothing closed in DCA and the crowds were light in the morning and it started to build as the day went on. We got almost everything we wanted to be done in the first hour of opening, but the rest of the day we just basically hit single rider everything. The crowds might be good at DL, but at DCA, they will be great to you. Xcelerator is back over it's short rehab ( it opened up before Solace) and everything in KBF is up smoothly. Hope I was a help to you! Brent "have a great trip" Shenton
  20. ^^Your right, DDR songs would work really well. I just don't know where to get them.
  21. ^True if you threw a penny of the Empire State Building it would be slowed down by the wind, but it still has enough speed to rip three feet into the ground.
  22. Nice website! I will now always use it before I go to theme parks! Thanks for making this great source! ---Brent
  23. ^ The faker isn't that great. It just gives you a little bit of speed before you finally go down the drop.
  24. The one on the side of the Stratosphere looked like it was going to be awesome! I can't belive the residents didn't like the idea. I wouldn't think it wouldn't make that much noise. Oh well, I guess they aren't going to build one anytime soon! Brent "if they do build one, let's hope it's not Arrow!" Shenton
  25. Nice pictures! It looks freakin scary! I could never do better! First of all, I don't have the profit and I can't scare anybody! Brent "looks almost like Haunt quality" Shenton
