Not really about school itself, but my spring break. My spring break was a week before all of my close friends spring break (this week). Pretty much every person I would want to hang out with during spring break had school last week while I was sitting at home with nothing to do, and now they're having loads of fun this week and I have to sit in school. Bleh, Tustin High sucks. ---Brent

On the difference between the Halo and Rotor, I find the Halo to be extremely heavy and inaffective at some moments. When my brother used one for a short amount of time, I had to clean out the eye many times because the motor would stop. Now I know almost nothing about the Rotor, but from what everybody is saying, it sounds like a great hopper. ---Brent

Taco Bell and In-N-Out are pretty much the heaven of fast food for me. I eat Taco Bell pretty regularly and the occasional time I have In-N-Out is bliss. ---Brent

Great pictures! Having a brother who plays it as his main sport, I've always been intrigued by paintball photography. You can get some awesome shots. And if you haven't tried paintball, go do it now! It will be a really really fun day. ---Brent

TPR PENS! (Yes, pens!)

I moved my nightstand last night and I looked on the ground behind it, and lo and behold, there was my TPR pen! I'm stoked that I found it. ---Brent -
Haunt Auditions Are Back!
socalMAN123 replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I completely agree, 100%. But never once have I ever seen that occur. I've never seen a monster break character, but I realize that some people on here have. That should not happen and I know that it is an amateur mistake and needs to be fixed. That truly screams bad show. That won't happen. The Talent Captains (who I'll assume will be in charge of the auditions) know there potential and what an impact they have on Haunt, which will heavily weigh in on their desicion. I can assure you that we won't lose any classic character. ---Brent -

Haunt Auditions Are Back!
socalMAN123 replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You think someone can give their all every single night working four nights of Haunt a week and their regular jobs at the same time? You really are to damn picky. ---Brent EDIT: You're not crazy, I feel the exact same way! I think it adds something else to the event and makes you appreciate it more as a whole and makes you appreciate the monster individually. -
Haunt Auditions Are Back!
socalMAN123 replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think Knott's is working on the story more and the themeing more, bringing it back up on top above all other Halloween events. I know that is has slipped down considerably, but I love it for what it is and improvement is welcomed. However, I think that what the Haunt monsters have going for them is that they are just classic, they know what works, and it continuously impresses me that they can find so many different ways to scare. If you can get me a ticket to Media Night I'll go. You need to come to Haunt on a non-crowded night with me, it is a completely different experience than what you seemed to have been having. ---Brent -
KBF PTR 4/5/09
socalMAN123 replied to CreditCrazy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, I've always had a problem with Knott's season pass processing. They always go at a snails pace and the place has so many people in it, that everyone gets crammed against the wall. I can deal with the amount of people, but the processing literally took me over 2 hours with maybe 6 or 7 people in front of me. ---Brent -
Haunt Auditions Are Back!
socalMAN123 replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, that is TERRIBLE. Honestly, I would've been very astonished to see that happen in front of me. I think I poorly worded my reply, I meant to imply that if a monster is talking to a guest, like playful banter or something similar, then what is wrong with that? Are monsters not supposed to not have any personal reaction with the guests rather than getting within inches of their faces? Even though I've never been to HHN, I'm SURE the monsters there talk also. ---Brent -

Yeah that's true, it's Cedar Fair they can screw anything up haha. I know I'm not saying that the auditions are going to go perfectly. But I do think that they will be organized and very similar to the older auditions. Jake is it wrong to talk to a monster if they stay in character the entire time? Never once have I talked to a monster have they strayed outside of their monster selves. ---Brent
