^ If I paid a high price for the Flash Pass and then have others line jumping without the pass, that would piss me off. I like the Disney Fast pass system better though as everyone can use it for no extra cost, and it works. Six Flags parks have always seemed to me more like an "Amusement Park", rather than a "Theme Park". For example, places like Dollywood and Disney may not have as many rides/coasters as Six Flags parks but they work hard to make you feel welcome and give you a great experience for the whole family. Six Flags seems more focused on thrills and seem to cater more to a younger crowd. They build as many coasters/rides as they can but don't focus so much on the full experience that parks like Disney do. Fact is, Six Flags has some of the best coasters around in their parks and that's enough to attract people. Having good customer service, and good operations will keep them coming back. The last thing we want is another Fuji-Q.

The Leafs simply have had no help at all. The Flyers are useless and the Sabres beat the Canes in OT. The Canes still got a shot at it but the Leafs are all but mathematically eliminated. Gotta give them credit for the effort. I can't wait to see what they will be like next season. Edit: Now the Bruins are freaking useless too!

^Scattered showers could be a good thing if it keeps people away from the park. Had a day like that a couple years ago at CW and the park was pretty quiet.

15 hectares is about 37 acres. Definitely big enough to make something of. Maybe another epic Aqua Trax like the one in Korea could be in the making!

well where do other parks come up with money and of thats a bad way to think if you are running a park as you have to spend alot of money to make money and this why playland sits empty most of te year with a lame amount of visitors 350,000 a year only and with the poplutation of vancouver being arond the 2.5 mark there is no reason why the attendance levels should'nt be around the 1.8+ to 2million thats the kind of thinking that keeps the park as sad as it is and they could pick up a real good coaster from a few parks that have gone under for the 3- 6 million dollar mark are even pick up a half decent coaster ( SPEED THE RIDE) from vegas for under 500.000 $ as im sure by the end of the month will be up for sale I sent he park a link for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9j%C3%A0_Vu_(roller_coaster) which was s ride like this and it was 600.000$ which now is in idaho I believe here is the link ihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73QaEJ6VFyA&feature=related is possible to up grade the park for not alot of money. Considering the Windseeker's cost about 5 million each, I'd say the Star Flyer is probably on the low end of that 3-6 million scale. So they may be able to swing a coaster for that price as well.

^You wanna come up with 20 million dollars for a hyper coaster? I doubt they have that kind of money available for something that size. Not to mention finding the room in a small park to fit one in. Sounds like the park does need some love though. A Star Flyer is a good start.

^You definitely make valid points, but the park has had 2 different owners in 2 years and that is discouraging to say the least. Whatever happens, the sooner this is over with, the better.

Sounds pretty cool. They should make the mountain erupt again though!
