Sorry about the double post, but this is big news. Always sad when the legends hang it up. Best of luck Nicklas. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=397224

I'm sure that Larson, Premier Rides and Gerstlaurer can help with Greezed Lightnin' I have no doubt that they could get the right people involved and make it work, but they might feel it's not worth the cost when they have the whole rest of the park to worry about. I hope they do restore it, but I'm not holding my breath.

"That's going to be in your digestive tract for seven years!" Do you have any idea how long it took me to get all the evil exes' contact information so I could form this stupid league? Like, two hours! *Two hours!* I think you should ditch the Outback Steakhouse theme and turn it into a Scott Pilgrim theme. Money donated. "That's it! You cocky cock! You'll pay for your crimes against humanity!"

More NYC please! I miss this place! -
Next to the Phoenix "bling" ERT we had, that was probably the most ridiculous thing we did on the trip. It was like a monsoon at times. Really awesome that they still ran ERT for us. It's definitely a great little coaster. I really enjoyed Phantom's Revenge too. Definitely has tons of air and it ran smoother than some B&M's I've ridden. I'm glad we had some surprise ERT on it. And I really like that they have such a great collection of classic flats that are hard to find (Turtle, Kangaroo, Noah's Ark, etc).

Oh yeah, that El Toro. It might be small in comparison, but it looks like a lot of fun. I'm going to guess 42. -
Basically, this all comes down to how much it's going to cost to get the rides up and running after 5 years of non use. Especially for something like Greezed Lightnin', it would take a large chunk of change, not to mention the Koch's experience is all with wooden coasters. Tackling something built by a company that doesn't even exist anymore would be a huge hurdle, among the many challenges of getting this park up and running again. Like Larry said, there is probably alot that we don't know and we will have to wait and see what happens in the next little while.

I remember reading that they were doing some track work on Nor Easter over the winter. It was running rough last year so I'm glad to hear about the improvement. The Boomerang was definitely very tolerable but quite honestly, I've never had any serious issue with a boomerang. -

Went out to the park today. 10 to 15 minute wait for Leviathan at about 1:00 this afternoon and about half that for Behemoth. Both coasters were absolutely hauling ass although Behemoth was rattling quite a bit.
