Ok, when you walk into a Magic Kingdom park do you want to go past Piates of the Caribbean or walk down Main Street USA to find a Toy Story Playland! Think about it this way- Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Adventureland (Pirateland), Fantasyland, TOY STORY PLAYLAND! And i do see your point about the movie thing but this is a whole land!

I just wanted to hear some opinions on the new Toy Story Playland at the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Resort Paris and at Hong Kong Disney (2012 ish) I loved the Toy Story movies and the rides that disney have made out of them ( Buzz Lightyears Astro Blasters, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, Toy Story Midway Mania and the associated disney shows and character spots) However i don't think that the new area fits into the studios at Disneyland Paris. The studios in Paris have a very cosy feel of rides based on popular movies e.g. Armageddon, Finding Nemo, Aladdin and Cars and thus it would seem that Toy Story Playland would fit in here as Toy Story is/was a popular movie franchise. My problem with this is that apart from cars and Crush the studios are very 1930's Hollywoodish and not 2000's kids movieish. I simply believe that iff the studios continue to add toon rides and shows and even areas this park will lose it's special Hollywood feel. Anyone agree or disagree? As for Hong Kong, The Magic Kingdom is for traditional Disney rides and more old fashioned feeling rides and certainly not for movies. Rant over. What do you guys think? Save the Studios!

I really enjoyed viewing this report. These Six Flags parks look fantastic. I live in Scotland,UK and have never been to any Six Flags. It's posts like this that really put Theme Park Review ahead of Coasterforce and Kingdom! P.S. I loved the captions!

I am musical daft! I play the guitar, Clarinet, a bit of Drums and love singing. Some of my favourites are: Les Miserables, Avenue Q, Wicked, Joseph, Blood Brothers and Chicago. I recommend that you go to see Les Miserables as it is by far my favourite musical for it's music, talent and story. Visit Les Miserables website and book tickets at a theatre near you! Enjoy!

I recently went to see Grown Ups. It's the new comedy with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider. There are some extreme laugh out loud moments and some really cool water park scenes! Iff you have not seen this movie go! p.s. The church/chapel used for the funeral scene is a facade at Warner Bros. Studios Hollywood. I saw it on a recent trip.

NEWS: Loudoun Castle Theme Park to close
bellhop96 replied to snoflake15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Goldrush was not open for long. I only got to ride it twice. Last week the park were advertising free tickets for council workers and families, seems to me like a last try to get people in. I will miss Loudon and the great views of Ayrshire from the top of the Barnstormer. -
I have already answered several questions and im pretty sure they are right. Im just curious to find out what exactly is in the bag o crap! and i want one!

Hello again, one last question, How can i get a bag o crap because i would like to own some TPR!? thanks.

Thanks for that explanation. I just think that it makes the cars look very modern and slightly strange but safety first!

NEWS: Loudoun Castle Theme Park to close
bellhop96 replied to snoflake15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This upsets me. Loudon Castle is my local park and even though it is not amazing it is the best we have in Scotland. They have only just opened the new Goldrush coaster too! -

Hello, I am just wondering if anyone has anything they could let me know about extra fun in the parks. I am visiting Flamingo land, UK on October 16th and on previous trips have managed to get everything done within about 4 hours. I would like to be let in on say, some fun games you can play at the parks or something along those lines, to make my one day visit the best it can be. Thanks any feedback is much appreciated.

Coolest Ride Vehicles
bellhop96 replied to Cerberus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Revenge of the Mummy the ride vehicles. They have very high quality speakers, cool headrests, comfy lapbars and are themed well. Oh, and they are high capacity! -
I think that this is a bad idea. Dont get me wrong, I love the Universal company (movies and parks) and have visited the Universal Resort in Florida several times and the Hollywood resort once. I however have noticed that the newer parks arent different enough from the originals. Florida, Hollywood and Japan have similar rides and the new Singapore park is quite similar apart from the new Battlestar Galactica and Madagascar attractions. My point is that there is not much more they can do. Florida has Disaster and Hollywood has Earthquake on The Studio Tour, same thing. Florida has Twister and singapore has Lights, Camera, Action (Hurricane) and Backdraft (Warehouse fire) has been done, what more is there? I love Universal but please guys stop building new parks, just focus on making the current (not old) parks better!

Best Theme Park Chain
bellhop96 replied to vertgforces's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My vote goes to Disney. They are clean, well-themed and have great rides. Iff i had to choose a second favourite it would have to be Universal Studios as i love movies and the rides and shows that Universal make from them. Go on the Mummy! -
Parks Coasters and Rides in Movies and TV
bellhop96 replied to spike's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Jaws scene on The Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood was used in several movies. I dont know their names but they is a link to them on The Studio Tour.com! a very good website for inside Universal info! -
I think that this is exactly what the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom needs. It will be a vast improvement to a fantastic park. I have seen The Little Mermaid Musical at Disney's Hollywood Studios and found it to be a great hit with everyone. As for Dumbo, it is a classic Disney attraction and in my opinion, the more the better! I am also looking forward to the Star Tours refurb as it was in need of a refurbishment.
