  1. 1974 Welcome back, folks. We're into the late summer of 1974! I've been unavailable to take any photos of the park as of late because I've been on a business trip to New York to meet with some potential staff members that we would like to have for our first year of operation. Today I have an update from a small project that I spearheaded myself. - Michael May We have partnered with Minute Maid to provide guests with refreshing ice cold lemonade. Guests can relax in the seating area while they enjoy their beverage. ...just like the good ole days! The entrance to Carolina Calamity had minor modifications made when its signage was installed.
  2. Awesome video, even better than the first one... something you usually don't see with sequels. And kudos for using RCT3!
  3. The Primary Characters of Greenhouse GREENHOUSE PREMIERES MAY 13, 2009 Ben After seeing his family violently killed in a tornado, Ben lives in a mental hospital with those images still haunting him. He was able to inherit much of his parent's money, but after 25 years it is quickly running out. He lives a paranoid lifestyle, analyzing nearly everything that seems out-of-place, including the new Greenhouse Industries' energy generators. He has lived secluded from the rest of the world for years and with his financial problems he might have to return one day. Amber Amber has been Ben's best friend since she was a child. Her family took Ben in after his parent's death. However, after it was apparent that Ben's condtion was not improving, Ben moved to New York and Amber followed a short time later after finishing school. Since then, Amber has been assisting him throughout his daily life. She is his support system but is worn down from his day-to-day senselessness. She tries to help Ben with his bills, but knows that the money will eventually run out. She isn't sure Ben is ready for the real world. Greenhouse Woman The voice of Greenhouse Industries, the Greenhouse Woman represents the mannequin-like society that America becomes in the future. As a country that has been plagued by a lengthy recession, America is in a state of dullness. Greenhouse Woman represents the government's attempt to take our country back to a better time. Greenhouse Police Greenhouse Police are those who enact the government's plan. They are in charge of monitoring everything, from energy generator installations to the public's awareness of what they are doing. They say little and walk in the shadows of others. Savannah Ben meets Savannah near the end of the film. It is through Savannah's questions that we learn how far Ben has come from when we first met him.
  4. I gotta say, Spanish death shuttle ride looks pretty intense. They need to bring one of those over here. SFA needs a new coaster anyway.
  5. Is that the queue people are freaking out about? I figured it might be mid-life crisis worthy, but it's not.
  6. This ride looks incredible. Congrats to Busch on what seems to be another winner!
  7. What a turn-of-events, yet I'm not that surprised.
  8. LMAO at their myspace. Still holding out hope for them, though.
  9. Greenhouse Industries :: We Can Save You! Greenhouse :: Coming May 13th
  10. New "website" is up: www.freestylemusicpark.com/blog
  11. 1974 Hello everybody! We have added yet another ride to our lineup! - Michael May The Great Twist will surely be a favorite! I'm not sure if my stomach will be able to handle it, though. Carolina Calamity completing more test runs. Safety is the number one priortiy for us! This area is coming along nicely!
  12. Watch the Greenhouse Trailer: Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slN-KsYYPV0 Vimeo: Please share your thoughts about it! Greenhouse Industries is here to save you.
  13. Greenhouse is going along at full steam. I fully expect it to be out in early May. This movie will most likely offend you. This movie will most likely make you feel uncomfortable. Greenhouse Industries is here to save you! We can save you. We can save you. More coming soon.
  14. "FREESTYLE JAZZ PARK" Coming 2011.
  15. Apparently I slept walked last night. I got up about 1:00, went downstairs, did something, then came back upstairs and went to bed. My mom happened to be awake and saw me returning to bed. All I remember is standing at the top of the stairs and then walking past her. I remember her asking me what I was doing but I mumbled something. I forgot about it until she asked me this morning. All I remember is the top of the stairs part. I think I might have been looking for something but I can't think of what it would have been. I used to sleep walk as a little kid but I thought you were supposed to grow out of it! I'm going off to college in the fall, I can't afford to be wandering around the ninth story of my dorm! Anybody got any sleep-walking stories? It's creepy but incredibly hilarious at the same time.
  16. Very cool! Dollywood is a beautiful park, even in black and white.
  17. 1974 Hello there! I've seen a few of the attractions here at the park already but one of my favorites has to be the bumper cars. Take a look for yourself. - Michael May The bumper cars are located next to Carolina Calamity. This is sure to be a hit with the families! The queue is located next to the building. The Charleston Railway train will pass directly under the ride as it enters the tunnel!
  18. 1974 Hello. We are inching our way towards the summer and while it might seem like work is slowing down, we're beginning "foundation work" all across the park. Vertical construction on many attractions should start soon. Here are the attractions we have revealed so far: Carolina Calamity :: Take a ride on this fun family rollercoaster with dips and turns surely to please everyone! Parachute Falls :: Experience the beauty of South Carolina on this exhilarating attraction. Carousel :: Our classic carousel features hand-crafted horses and Victorian decorations. Charleston Railway :: A train ride around the park in our old-fashioned steam engine. There are countless more we've yet to reveal! - Michael May The entry plaza is now complete.
  19. That's the coolest-looking coaster I've seen in a while. Great pictures! By the looks on the rider's faces, I'd say it's an intense ride.
  20. Chicken Tetrazini. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUzraG5yZN0
  21. I still get that feeling in my stomach on some big drops and most launches. I think alot of it has to do with your pre-ride anticipation. For me I usually would get nervous before really big rides and I think that would add to the feeling. That doesn't happen as often anymore. I don't think I ride them often enough to have "gotten used to them".
  22. 1974 Hello, today we completed what will be the park's tallest ride: Parachute Falls. - Michael May Looking from the control center of the ride. The ride's queue is located behind the ride. It's covered for those hot summer days. The ride is located next to Carolina Calamity. Parachute Falls will offer a great view of the coaster! You have to stand far away to get the whole ride in one shot!
  23. 1974 Hello! We are continuing to work in the entrance plaza area of the park. We have installed the park's carousel, a classic attraction any amusement park. - Michael May The carousel will be the first ride guests see as they enter the park. The queue for the ride is located in the back, allowing for non-riders a close up view. This area is quickly nearing completion. It looks great at night. Crews are also working on finishing up Carolina Calamity. Thanks to everybody who participated in the contest! There were countless good ideas, and in the end we decided to combine everybody's ideas into one.
