1975 Hello! We recently completed one of my favorite rides in the park: Sky Wheel! This ride will provide great views of the midway. While it might not be as tall as Parachute Falls, I'm sure it will give a thrilling ride. - Michael May The ride features two connected miniature ferris wheels. Those eating at the Greenway Cafe will be offered an excellent view of the ride. At night the ride becomes even more visually stunning with extravagant lighting. I think this will be a very popular attraction with the guests.

It's only a matter of time before the park opens. - Michael May The Sumter Emporium is designed to be a tribute to the original Fort Sumter which can be found right here in Charleston! We decided to have this building visually different from the rest to hopefully draw in guests to make purchases! There are also seating areas inside for guests to rest and relax in. The midway is really coming together now!

Nice job! It'd be cool if someone could do a map of parks from each year or even decade, so that you could see how many parks there used to be, compared to today's.

I seem to be in the minority here, I love seeing the park's logo on the trains, especially the 1970's/80's Arrow coasters. Often times, they'll have the park's old logo on them which adds to the nostalgia. But on newer rides, I would think that it would be more approriate to have the ride's logo or better yet no logo at all.

You can see some new pictures of the park here. You can say what you want about the owners, the name, etc., but you've at least got to give them credit - they've gotten alot accomplished in a little amount of time.

It looks like an awesome coaster, but seeing that clip makes me think that this shouldn't have been the Terminator ride. I know this has been beaten to death already, but I think it would've been cooler if X had been rethemed to T:S instead of X2. At least that's how I would've done it, but I'm not running the show! It just looks funny with all the apocalyptic elements in the video, and then we see these bunny hills of a wooden coaster at the end. Anybody else agree?

That whole area looks really nice - it's where Deja Vu used to stand, correct? Great photos!

Man that thing really hauls! I like the post-lift drop, I think it's gonna make the second larger drop alot cooler. Thanks for posting the video!

I'm really impressed with what the park has done with this attractions, it's one of my all-time favorite dark rides. It's been a long time since I've been on it - does the ride have a small drop? I can't remember.

1975 Hello there and welcome to 1975! It's been a hectic past year, but we've gotten many a thing accomplished! We've got a lot of work to do until we arrive at opening day! - Michael May Monster Mash Hotel will be Charleston Gardens Amusement Park's dark ride attraction! That commercial could be part of a "series" they're working on, each one promoting a different attraction or section of the park. Just an idea. I'm glad to see they're making progress.

All of the lights in the lobby haven't been turned on yet, but I'm sure you get the general idea! I decided to go a little classic tonight with my other camera. Looks a little different now!

I gotta give props to Six Flags - this looks like a really well-themed attraction. But for some reason I thought this was going to be over by Spaceship America. I think it looks alot better in its actual spot.

1974 Hello folks, welcome back! We've been working very diligently inside our theatre this week! - Michael May The interior is complete! We aren't quite done with the facade, though. This will be a great place to come in from the heat and kick back to watch a show. Lighting has been installed on many of the rides. We're not ready to open, but we're getting there!

The track looks as smooth as glass. I hope I can get to Universal Studios next time in Florida. So what are they putting up on the lifthill now? Is it a tall billboard or something different?
