  1. I enjoy Flight of Fear, too--but it can give you a good bone shaking from time to time.
  2. To me, Kings Dominion has one world-class coaster (I305), two very good coasters (Volcano and Dominator), one "interesting" coaster (Flight of Fear), and two decent woodies (Rebel Yell and Grizzly). Not a bad line-up at all.
  3. Tunnel Vision (1976)
  4. Here is the press release regarding the park's 2017 announcement.
  5. That would be one-up on the exit to Test Track, which looks like a Chevy dealership.
  6. ^ I would call Taco Bell a "big chain."
  7. Sigh . . . From the "ground rules" for this thread: I would call IHOP a "big chain."
  8. Nitro--Six Flags Great Adventure
  9. Last time I checked, 90MPH is faster than 30MPH. Larry teaches math. He knows these things.
  10. How about some info on Haunt for a change?
  11. I'm sure it'll be a big improvement over Vortex. That ride was wretched.
  12. Such a great park! I need to get back there and ride Helix.
  13. You may want to get your gut checked out ASAP. Also, still no building permits on the Hanover County website. Yes, I recommend Tums.
  14. Adventureland is a nice park, and it's good to hear that Monster turned out well. I like Outlaw quite a bit, myself.
  15. Hmm--even though this is the "random" forum, this topic is much too vague. Locked.
  16. I knew very little about Kolmarden outside of Wildfire, and ended up liking the park a lot. The cable-car safari and animal habitats were very well done--and Wildfire was excellent (particularly that last inversion--whew)! Getting around the place is quite a hike.
  17. ^Not this trip, but I did ride it back in 2008. I'm not big on flat rides, but Talocan was the best Top Spin I've ever ridden. It's also the most fun to watch.
  18. ^I also preferred Holiday Park's Sky Scream a bit to Tempesto (and I like the latter quite a bit). There seemed to be a bit more "snap" to it.
  19. ^Neither do I. I was hoping to see a slew of Intamin wooden coasters after the success of El Toro and Balder, but it never happened. It worked out for RMC, though.
  20. I had to pay good money for that advertising space. Great report--still have yet to visit the New England parks.
  21. I'm not sure I'd want to pay an extra 50 bucks to look like an alien from Lost in Space.
  22. Does KT always carry the heads of her slain enemies on the tip of her sword?
  23. Williamsburg Alewerks Springhouse Ale If you like a good Belgian ale, I recommend this one.
