Mitsui Greenland was my favorite "tradiional" amusement park in Japan in 2007--a great, quirky place. I was shocked that I liked Megaton (the Ultra Twister coaster), but my favorite attractions there were the Haunted Shrine (dark ride with headphones), the Haunted Hospital walkthrough, and the alpine slide.
It's nice to see Wonder Rakutenchi looking nice and fixed up. Back in 2007, I thought it would've made a good set for a horror movie, but but now it looks bright and cheery.
And yay for duck racing!
Europa keeps getting better and better--Wodan looks like a great addition. The European parks seem to do a much better job when it comes to theming wooden coasters than the American parks.
I think you're right--booze will probably help.
As for the costumes, they look like an odd mix-and-match of the 1970s disco and 1980s rock video fashions.
Yeah, Cars Land good. Mad Tea Party bad. (At least from what I've seen so far.) Electronica is something I probably would've at least checked out; but the Tea Party, probably not.
I'll be riding at Kings Dominion for Give Kids the World: https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/chuckcampbell/KingsDominion.
Please give--it's a great cause!
