  1. I'm a big fan of this park, too--especially Japanese Jaws and its amazing gift shop!
  2. I'm looking forward to playing this course, as old sci-fi and horror flicks are right up my alley.
  3. The last coaster I rode was Apollo's Chariot during Passholder Preview Day at BGW. Next, it will be some coaster at Dollywood.
  4. Mitsui Greenland was my favorite "tradiional" amusement park in Japan in 2007--a great, quirky place. I was shocked that I liked Megaton (the Ultra Twister coaster), but my favorite attractions there were the Haunted Shrine (dark ride with headphones), the Haunted Hospital walkthrough, and the alpine slide.
  5. There are plenty of other good reasons to visit Alton.
  6. ^I've had no problems with the site at all using IE9. It could just be a temporary issue.
  7. Hmm--we never see sights like that last picture at Busch Gardens.
  8. You're absolutely right, Joey. So, I just made sure that I'd donated to all my Kings Dominion teammates.
  9. ^You're probably right. Star Flyers do look considerably less "substantial'--especially because the seats are hanging from chains.
  10. I'm curious to see which is the freakier experience--a Windseeker or a Star Flyer?
  11. You seem a little hot and bothered by this tour, Matt--must be that long and hard inline twistiness. It can have that effect on people.
  12. ^Actually, it happened in northern California--Sacramento.
  13. It's nice to see Wonder Rakutenchi looking nice and fixed up. Back in 2007, I thought it would've made a good set for a horror movie, but but now it looks bright and cheery. And yay for duck racing!
  14. Let's let the 2012 season get rolling--then we'll worry about 2013. Thank you.
  15. Europa keeps getting better and better--Wodan looks like a great addition. The European parks seem to do a much better job when it comes to theming wooden coasters than the American parks.
  16. I think you're right--booze will probably help. As for the costumes, they look like an odd mix-and-match of the 1970s disco and 1980s rock video fashions.
  17. I agree--this whole "what did SkyRush actually cost?" discussion is getting a bit ridiculous. Let's all move on from this, shall we?
  18. I'm am a little sorry to hear that, as I rather like Wildwasserbahn II--one of the weirdest log rides ever.
  19. Oh no! I'm out 25 bucks! At least it's for a good cause.
  20. Maybe those Valleyfair people don't think I'm good for it. I got yer 25 bucks right here! Whaddaya waitin' for? I'm even wearin' a Minnesota t shirt!
  21. Yeah, Cars Land good. Mad Tea Party bad. (At least from what I've seen so far.) Electronica is something I probably would've at least checked out; but the Tea Party, probably not.
  22. ^I will donate $25 to the first TPR member to sign up for Valleyfair.
  23. ^Welcome aboard, Jeremiah! I just gave you your first donation.
  24. You don't have the "marathon" the ride. The donation is a flat amount, not "per lap."
  25. I'll be riding at Kings Dominion for Give Kids the World: https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/chuckcampbell/KingsDominion. Please give--it's a great cause!
