  1. One point to bear in mind is that Va. Beach is a lot closer to BGW, and summer traffic on the I-64 corridor can be a pain (especially the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, Monitor-Merrimac Bridge Tunnel, and the construction zone between Newport News and Williamsburg). The drive from Va. Beach to KD is about two hours on a good day; it's about one hour to BGW.
  2. I think they would all sing like canaries after one ride on a Golden Horse SLC knockoff.
  3. Looks like a fun way to spend an evening--get yourself dinner, a drink or two, then ride the Starflyer.
  4. The "madmax" levels are strong with this one. Not surprising, as they're one and the same. Banned him last night.
  5. The best consequences are unintended consequences.
  6. ^To build on the second question, what's your favorite ride at Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland?
  7. I'd rather spend my beer money in the park's Brauhaus enjoying a nice craft brew.
  8. Zeus--Mt. Olympus
  9. The tour will include samples of AB products directly from a "finishing tank." Then again, you can probably have the same experience drinking tap water.
  10. I wouldn't mind seeing a version of "Cobra's Curse" themed to Irish myth.
  11. I just moved this post to the Games forum: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1857916#p1857916. I think it's a spammer (haven't "approved" it yet).
  12. . . . the day before Cinco de Mayo, which it is. Bring me the . . .
  13. I imagine it won't be Grover's Alpine Express.
  14. All I know is that whatever "family coaster" is replacing Dueling Dragons better be a worthy replacement! That new ride has a pretty high bar to live up to! Amen to that!
  15. So, what happens on the Fast & Furious Party Bus stays on the Fast & Furious Party Bus.
  16. Battle for Eire's video was done by Falcon Creative Group, and Dreamcraft Attractions worked on the ride, too. The simulator platform has been there since the Questor days (upgraded since).
  17. I agree that Hershey is both "old school" and a bit "cutting edge." That's part of a its appeal.
  18. Frankly, I don't think they look any better or worse that the original trains.
  19. I'm rather intrigued by the Gold Rush ride. Thanks for the report!
  20. I had a coat with zippered pockets, where I kept my phone and glasses (in a case). They were checking everyone wearing glasses for straps, though (they wouldn't let me wear mine on Flight of Fear, either).
  21. ^You can use a "secured pocket."
  22. No worries. It simply makes more sense to consolidate your replies, rather than making multiple posts. It took me a while to master this, too.
