  1. SFMM's is decent and definitely superior to SFDK's, but I would still say overall in California it's SFDK < CGA < SFMM < KBF < USH. I like SFMM's scare zones, when the actors are good it's pretty entertaining. SFMM's landscape provides pretty good opportunuties in some places and there's a good pool of scare talent in the area. From what I've seen the mazes arent quite the quality of CF or Universal though. I do like that one special thing they still do is turn off all track lightning on most coasters, so you get pitch black rides. Gold Rusher is especially and surprisingly good in the dark during Fright Fest. Magic Mountain does have some good terrain to work with for Fright Fest. Lots of vegetation to hide monsters and such.
  2. Hmm--doubt you'd catch me on any of them, with the possible exception of a Sky Coaster.
  3. Wouldn't surprise me; then again, I'm over the whole "zombie thing."
  4. Parc Asterix--France
  5. ^It costs more than an average midsized car.
  6. I think this will give you an idea of how much candy you can collect during Mickey's Not-So-Scary.
  7. I've never been to a Six Flags Fright Fest, but Magic Mountain's looks pretty good.
  8. Sigh! I miss Tokyo Disney--and the pork-cutlet restaurant at Ikspiari.
  9. It's also a rather "gamey" tasting pizza topping. Reminded me of venison.
  10. They should use the big final scene from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.
  11. DuClaw's Hellrazer at Howl-o-Scream.
  12. ^You need to resize your photos--800 by 600 pixels is ideal. You can use something as basic as Microsoft Paint to do this.
  13. ^The food is quite good, and it's tough to beat the setting (particularly the "creepy" room).
  14. ^My anticipation is now doubled!
  15. Good to see that the yardbird is back--it was so damn good last year. Looking forward to that and trying some new stuff come November.
  16. I disliked it because it was a lousy, clunky, uncomfortable ride. Period. That being said, I don't care for the B&M stand-up coasters, either, and I've ridden some Togo stand-ups in Japan that were pretty good.
  17. ^Same. I would love a chance to experience what Ghostrider was like in its prime. All I've ever experienced is the pain.
  18. Nickelodeon Universe--Mall of America
  19. You have achieved true enlightenment.
  20. They have different desserts (the Monster Cake and Pumpkin Cheesecake are usually pretty good), and there are a number different cocktails available. I'll probably toy some of those later. They have Halloween-themed goodies in the candy store in England, too.
