Thanks for this off-season look at Six Flags St. Louis. I rather liked this park when TPR stopped there during the 2010 Mid-America Tour (especially Mr. Freeze).
I would head to DCA first thing for a Radiator Springs Racers Fast Pass (and hit the stand-by line if it isn't too long). Depending on when your return time for Racers is, you could head over to Disneyland and ride a bunch of stuff there (and snag another Fast Pass).
Yeah, I don't see how this could be practical--especially with that Volare spiral lift hill.
I think the only way this could work would be for Vekoma or B&M to build their own knockoff Volare.
My Christmas avatar is a particularly creepy elf at Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. He look like he's just about to snap from the stress of working for Santa.
I think it's a toss up between I305 at Kings Dominion and Insane at Grona Lund. The former is particularly intense through the first drop and turn, while the latter is intense throughout (but it's a much shorter ride).
^^^This sums up my point of view perfectly^^^
I prefer the backseat of Griffon; again, this is for the improved airtime. But the view from the front is better.
I think "back seat" is the default answer for most coasters if you're into airtime. I know that Apollo's Chariot is much better in the back seat than in any other row.
This is not an absolute, though.
^The Movie Tavern is the best place to see marginal movies in Williamsburg--thanks to the availability of some good beer.
I did quaff another Magic Hat Snow Roller last night while watching House of Cards on Netflix.
