Taron looks absolutely insane--in the good way! I love how it weaves in and out of the rock work. -

Vertical LIM lift? Holy crap, that would be amazing! -

While I'm looking forward to riding Blue Fire, I's not sure I'd want to spin while doing it. Looks pretty cool, though. -

With that whole picture, I just don't see the County turning it down. Neither do I, but Universal is a heavy hitter. I'd love to see some improvements on I-Drive. -

I guess Universal thinks it's easier to kill someone else's project than to improve City Walk to compete (for example, as WDW is doing with Disney Springs)? There's also the question of what Universal has in mind for what used to be Wet 'n' Wild. -
IAAPA 2015 Live Coverage!

^I enjoyed Voyage to the Iron Reef at Knott's, so I'm curious about Triotech's future projects. I've never heard of Lagotronics, but healthy competition is always good. -

IAAPA 2015 Live Coverage!
cfc replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think the most interesting stuff has come from RMC (the Raptor and T-Rex track), Sally (new Walking Dead dark ride), and Triotech ("hands-off" shooting-dark-ride system). I like what PTC is doing with their trains now, too. -
Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

An Oktoberfest area could be really cool, and HW would pull it off perfectly! Not without beer. -
^I don't get the appeal of Hunger Games. I saw the first two flicks when they came out on DVD and just sort of shrugged (no interest in seeing the finale). But I guess I"m not part of the core audience for this series.

IAAPA 2015 Live Coverage!

Here are some more photos from !AAPA 2015. We are back at SallyCorp checking out some of their other dark ride products. A closer look at SallyCorp's Justice League dark ride for SixFlagsOver Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, and Six Flags Mexico. Checking out this cool water transport system from White Water West going in at Zoo Miami. I think Hanno has found a game he needs for his house! More fun from Bob's Space Racers! The new combo tower from S&S looks pretty cool! We've stopped by Fun Spot America to check out Mack Rides VR Coaster technology! The VR Coaster tech worked great! Very clear, well synced to the ride, & super fun! I'd rather have this VR Coaster headset on a coaster than ride a "simulator" based attraction. This was MUCH better! That wraps up another day at IAAPA! -
