  8. I always enjoy TPR's coverage of this event--looking forward to seeing what Sally is doing with the Walking Dead this year, as well as new coaster stuff.
  9. ^That's a a pretty good choice. For me, I would go with Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars at Hong Kong Disneyland. Vekoma Mine Trains lend themselves well to theming, and Vekoma seems to do its best work in collaboration with Disney.
  10. ^That would be a good finale for that show.
  11. ^I felt indifferent about Spectre. Not a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond, and I thought the "story arc" with the flicks that preceded it (starting with Casino Royale) seemed forced.
  12. ^I would have to try the Darth Tamale for the name alone. Did it look like this?
  13. ^To me, the story suggests "Dances with Smurfs." But I can see where it would make a very cool section for theme park.
  14. ^I hope it's better than the Golden Mickeys show. I couldn't make head or tail out of that one.
  15. While I appreciated some of the "Paint the Night" floats (particularly Toy Story and Monsters Inc.), I found the music a bit "generic," and not very memorable.
  16. I agree totally! I thought DCA was great. It was interesting to me because it was Disney doing Six Flags (at least the original SF concept) the right way, with a huge bank roll. With the six themed areas highlighting the best of the state in architecture and landscape, and well themed "common" rides (roller coaster, ferris wheel, rapids ride, assorted kids flat rides, etc.), DCA is Six Flags over California. It used to be "meh" but it absolutely came arouns with the $1 billion makeover. I enjoyed DCA in its early years, but it suffered in comparison to Disneyland. It's much better now and can hold its own.
  17. That is one creepy granny. Yes, I think she is trapping and cooking those pigeons!
  18. V: Vixen
  19. ^I like this ride quite a bit--particularly the non-inverting loop.
  20. Howler, The--Holiday World
  21. Magic Hat Snow Roller
  22. Really. Who knows what Flynn and Rapunzel are up to up there?
