  1. Is it related to Premiers new superman skyloop?
  2. Are you thinking of a food or food vendor?
  3. ^ I actually think it's high enough. Unlike B&M wing-riders Skyrush seats are above the track rather than on the sides in order to accomodate the two inner seats. Skyrush Trains Also, the angle we are looking at may make it appear lower than it is. I think it will make for a very thrilling turn in the right seat though!
  4. duggl.us ^Here is my tumblr based photography blog / website for my on-the-side photography business. I just post photos I take once in a while.
  5. ^"taken down" might not actually be the right words. From what I understand, if this bill passes it would force Internet service providers to block the domain name of the offending website from their DNS servers. However, this doesn't mean that the site would be "taken down." Sites can continue to maintain there websites, but they will be more difficult to access. The block can be bypassed by typing in the websites IP address (for Theme Park Review, 98.142.209.220), and maybe even using a third party DNS server would bypass the block as well. But, the idea behind the bill is wrong. It will suppress innovation, and harm an industry vital to our nation. The Internet brings in more money than the movie/music industry does.
  6. Off the top of my head... PA: Splash Lagoon and I believe there is a Great Wolf Lodge in the Ponoco Mountians In NY: there is a small one called Pages Paradise Island in Depew, but it is more for small children. There is one at Greek Peak Mountain Resort as well as a cool alpine coaster you can ride. If you have a passport you could also go to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara falls Canada. You can see it from NY. I'm not familiar with NJ. I know these are too far for a day trip. But it would probably be worth the drive to Greek Peak of you made a weekend out of it. You could also ski and do the alpine coaster. Again, these are just off the top of my head. I hope this helps a little. -Doug
  7. Beautiful! The large spine kinda hides how massive it is. Looking at where the spine thins out at the bottom puts it into perspective. Wow, this thing is gorgeous!
  8. ^that would be cool, but they could have implemented that with the magnetic cards as well. RFID is just more reliable.
  9. ^don't get me wrong, I'm mostly against piracy. I think there are better options for consuming content than piracy. Services such as Pandora, Netflix, Grooveshark, Spotify, ect. offer most of the content that people origionally pirated 5 years ago. I personally suscribe to Grooveshark and Netflix so I can have all the music and movies I would want at a reasonable price. Now if the entertainment industry stopped fighting this business model and embrased it I'm pretty sure that they would end up making more money in the long run. Let the industry make piracy obsolete.
  10. I don' t even see the point... The internet cannot be governed. Look at china! They sensor parts of the web there, but all you need is the right proxy and wah-la! The great thing about the internet is the people have the power. If the governmemt puts up a wall thousands of people on the web will work to tear it down. It is a waste of time, our elected officials have more important matters they should be dealing with. /rant -Doug (I use my real name on the web) Mandell Jr.
  11. I still find it amazing how few supports are holding up lifts these days. i305 blew my mind with its two supports and this may be even more impressive. I hope they film the topping-off.
  12. ^^ "Only 15 easy payments of $9.99" *throws credit card at tv* "I'll take 10! I'm sold!" With a pitch like that TPR bags-o- crap are almost home shopping network ready.
  13. That GCI tote bag would make a great man-purse. Must study videos!
  14. I am very intrigued about the new, original topper track coaster from Rocky Mointian. From all I've heard about NTAG It would be cool to see this technology work its way across the country. Rocky Mountain is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies.
  15. That lasermaze looks awesome! Are there any installed in the north east? I would like to take a crack at it.
  16. So, with mammoth... Is the idea that they could switch out rafts to increase capasity depening on how heavy crowds are that day? The only issue I see with running multiple styles of rafts on the same circuit is patrons battleing for their desired raft. IAAPA looks like a lot of fun, and also a lot of work. Thanks for the great coverage and I hope you guys are enjoying the show!
  17. I hope I get the chance to go to IAPPA some day. Looks like a blast! Great job with the timely updates by the way.
  18. For anyone who is a super-heavy iPhone user like myself, you know that you always either just get by or your battery dies before the end of the day. One solution I found is a battery case for the iPhone. I got one off of amazon for $30. I love it. Around 5 my iPhone is drained to about 15% and I'll turn on the case and it will re-charge my phone to about 80%. iPhone BOOST case ^This is the one I got for $30. It has since gone up in price because I bought mine before the 4S was announced. It may come down in price again soon though.
  19. No, I fixed it! In all seriousness though. I'm very excited about this project and also feel the anticipation leading up to its opening. I am so glad I'll be able to ride this next season.
  20. Portable coasters have always interested me. Especially as we not have any big fairs in my area of the world. This thing looks amazingly thrilling for a portable. I know it doesn't measure up to Schwarzkopf standards, but still impressive.
  21. ^I think bing maps may have an update version but I may be wrong.
  22. They sent me two spikey balls last season! I am excited to get my hands on some moar balls! Real Art has a hit with the claw. Hopefully t will return annually.
  23. Looks very cool! I wonder if this will be incorporated into other aspects of the park as well. Virtual queuing and payment options ect.
  24. Wow, 300 million is pretty steep! It would be cool to see if this thing gets built! However that height seems pretty intimidating and may discourage some tourists from riding. Also, at a $300 million price tag admission to the wheel will most likely be kinda pricey. Fingers crossed though!
