Hello Mr. Knight, Thank you for taking the time to visit Boulder Leisure Park! I'm sorry that we were not able to speak, I've been spending much time in the office lately. Working at an amusement park isn't always easy! I will say, myself and others have been closely following the success of Magic Mountain's Great American Revolution, as well as your own Kitanzi. Congratulations on your growing success and terrific new coaster! While I cannot officially release information on our upcoming addition, you were definitely onto something when you mentioned Mr. Anton Schwarzkopf. With tomorrow's big announcement approaching, press releases have already been sent out. Be sure to check the papers tomorrow for all the details on our new addition. I will have to be sure to come out to Bell Gardens next time I am in the area! Sincerely, Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Thank you for taking the time to look at my park so thoroughly! Hurler is the ride located in this building: Last 2 pictures on this page It is a spinning mad house ride that opened in 1971, our 5th season. It's experienced extended downtime and low ridership, and has thus been closed for the past two seasons. Hope this clears things up! -

The American Bicentennial July 1976 Hello Boulder, I hope everyone's had a great Fourth of July! I have big news - an announcement regarding next year's additions will be made tomorrow! We've decided to make the announcement early this year, as much of our work is already showing. Speaking of which, I've got some pictures for you: Supports have been placed, even through Washington Whirl's queue! These entertainers sure look like they're having fun! Mad Mouse is still the most consistently popular ride in the park! Modern Motorcars is doing great as well. Please check back tomorrow for our big announcement! Until then, signing off... -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

The American Bicentennial July 1976, 10th Season Hello friends, We're doing better than ever as we head into the middle of the summer. While there has been no new development on the construction site yet, I managed to get some other pictures around the park: This area of the park is never usually very crowded. Paratrooper is always one of the busiest rides in the park! Rocky Rumbler was down for mechanical reasons this morning, but they had it testing when I got there. It's been another great day at Boulder Leisure Park! Have a great day! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

iPod Nano, iPad! Nothing beats an Apple Christmas Plus Raw 5 and CE 14, a great year! Can't wait to view TPR:TM on my new iPad -
My family and I were considering going to Dollywood next week during their Christmas festival, but I was wondering if all of the rides and coasters would be open as usual? I'd love to go either way, but a few laps on Mystery Mine, Thunderhead, and Tennessee Tornado would be awesome too. Thanks, gci2011

The American Bicentennial June 1976, 10th Season Hello America! I managed to get out of the office again to snap a few shots of the park. Looking good, and there's a bit more development on the construction site: Lakeside Dipper's viewing area is great for guests who need a chance to sit down and catch their breath! We can't forget RPM over here! In other news, Hurler is still closed. Hmmm... The park looks busy as ever! This sure looks exciting! We'll have to wait and see what it is. Have a great day, -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park ----------------------------------------- P.S. Merry Christmas! -

Ok - trying to use the RCT3 CS Importer but I'm missing mingwm10.dll. No idea what to do, is this something that another person could send to me? I want to try to import a bit of CS that I've made. -

The American Bicentennial May 1976, 10th Season Hello again, We're just about a month into our 10th Season here, and we're doing great! Attendance is up from last year, but still slightly lower than our peak season. In other news, we're seeing some development towards the front of the park. I wonder what it could be... Weeeeee! Sea Serpent Looks like fun today. Lakeside Dipper's crew is one of the fastest in the park! Hmmm. This looks interesting Stay tuned for more updates! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Sorry for the double post, no replies... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The American Bicentennial May 1976, 10th Season Hello Boulder! Welcome back to another great year at the park! I can happily say, Washington's Whirl is a hit! The park is doing great, and everyone seems to be full of excitement and patriotism this year. The park is doing better than ever! Welcome back for our 10th Anniversary! Guests seem thrilled to be back! This small drink stand was added near the front of the park. Here's Mad Mouse, sporting a new red-and-white paint job. (Let me know what you think of the supports, footers have since been added) Shoot the Chutes sure leaves a large gap in the park's lineup... What could fill this spot? It's a hit! Come and check out the park soon! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

September 28, 1975 9th Season Hello Boulder, I hope you saw our announcement about next year. Needless to say, we're excited! However, it is once again closing day. I managed to get a few more pictures before the park closed for the year: Guests have to get in their last ride on Lakeside Dipper El Furioso needs some love too. The last ever picture of a blue Mad Mouse - new colors for next year! Goodbye Super Slide! You will be missed. One last ride on Shoot the Chutes as well. Sad to see this ride go as well. It'll be another long winter... Thank you for your patronage. See you next year! The park will reopen on May 1. Have a great winter! -Robert Clarke, PR Manager, Boulder Leisure Park (EDIT: 200th Post!) -

Ok - I have DasMatze's German Railroad Crossing Kit installed and placed in my park where I want it. But I can't get the gates to close when the train goes through. How can I get this to work properly so peeps can't get through, or is that not possible? -

September 1, 1975 9th Season Hello Boulder, I regret to inform you that Super Slide will be the second ride to be leaving for next year. It's had a good run, but our replacement will not disappoint! Regardless, onto some pictures: You really do get some great shots from the top of Rocky Rumbler's second lift. Mad Mouse always has a line these days! Now that we've made an announcement, guests are trying to get their last rides in on Shoot the Chutes. You can see the crowd levels are winding down now that school has started. This Hospitality Center is one of the best spots in the park to sit down and relax for a bit. An official announcement on next year's additions will come at the end of the month. Have a great day! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

August 1, 1975 9th Season Hey again, The first ride to be leaving will be Shoot the Chutes. We hate to see it go, but we're sure you won't be disappointed with its replacement! Any guesses for the second ride to leave? Regardless, I have some pictures for you. I managed to get out of the office for several hours today, it was really nice being able to walk around the park for a while. I will say, El Furioso has gotten rougher over the years. Upside-down or rightside-up? This is quite the disorienting ride! Everybody still loves Modern Motorcars. It's the middle of summer, but crowds aren't quite as large as this time last season. Must be the lack of new attraction. At least Paratrooper seems full! See if you can guess what might be leaving next year! Have a great day, -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

July 1, 1975 9th Season Hello Boulder! Sorry I haven't been able to update you lately, I've been busy in the office. We've been ironing out our plans for the next few years at the park. Trust me when I say, you won't be disappointed! However, it is with a sad note that I must let you know - two rides will be leaving Boulder Leisure Park at the end of the year. But before I tell you, see if you can guess! Full plans will be released at the end of the season. Until then, here are some pictures: This area got a makeover last year as well. The Main Street Shops sure look nice from up here! Hands up! Great shot from the roof, just don't tell my boss I was up here! This stop on Boulder Railway also got a new station building. Please let us know what you think - see if you can figure out what'll be leaving next year! Have a great day, -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park
