I'll save the best for last The Main Street Market opened today. The neighboring restaurant also received a new matching roof! Guests entering the Main Street Market. Guests love Boulder Railway! Guests say the Rotor is the most thrilling ride in the park! Grand Wheel and El Furioso make for a great skyline! Hmmmm... what's with that track? Taken through a hole in the construction fence. We'll have to wait and see! An official announcement will be made soon. Stay tuned! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

July 1, 1971 4th Season Hey hey hey, USA ! We're already a month into our 4th season, and the crowds wont stop coming! So far, guest seem to love the new area of the park, which has been drawing moderate but steady crowds since it opened. The second part of this expansion plan will open next year, and construction has already begun. We've got a few ideas already in mind, but we'd like to here your suggestions as well. All I can say about this project for now is that we've got a terrific new main attraction planned for our guests. Onto some pictures: Land clearing for the new area has begun. Materials were moved on site later this afternoon. The park from the top of one of our mountains. The massive new Boulder Tower dominates the park's skyline. I also tried to get a few shots of the new gift shop going up, but it was just too busy for me to poke around. Work is progressing fast, and it should be open soon. Have a great day! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Hey TPR, I was working on the park tonight preparing an update when... my computer crashed. The program has occasionally quit before spontaneously, but nothing like this before. I doubt that anything has happened to the park - most likely it will work fine again tomorrow. I'll try to have another update as soon as I get everything sorted out, hopefully tomorrow evening as usual. Luckily, I posted one this morning, so I guess today is covered. Please check it out! Thanks for your understanding! gci2011 -

^Thanks for the compliments! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 1, 1971 4th Season Hello again, Happy new year, and welcome back to Boulder Leisure Park! The big news this year is that the first part of our 5-year expansion plan is now open: Welcome back to Boulder! "The Forest" is as popular as ever. The first guests trickle into the new area. Two new restaurants opened - a pizza parlor and a sub shop. Its a long way down from the top of Boulder Tower, the park's first observation tower. A new façade has been put up along the main midway. I hear it will be a new gift shop. Please let us know your thoughts on the area, and what you would most like to see added to the park. As part of our expansion plan, another section of the park will open next year, so we really want your suggestions! Let me know, -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

No, just have the original, nothing fancy . Thanks for the help, I've decided to just live with it for now. I downloaded some shingle roofs that work great instead. -

Quick update, preparing for Season 4 tomorrow. The new area just needs a few final touches, but I have a quick preview: Please let me know what you think! I'm particularly proud of the buildings, they're my first successful attempt at custom scenery. Please comment! Thanks, gci2011 -

1. I download the sets. 2. One by one, I unzip them directly into style/themed. Viewing style/themed from the mac side of my computer (i also run windows on it). 3. After confirming that all appear in style/themed, I start RCT3. 4. I open up my game (Boulder Leisure Park). 5. First, I begin to place a flat ride. If I forget this step, the game freezes as soon as I click on any button in the scenery menu. 6. I open the "walls" menu. Only sets 5, 6, 7, and 8 appear. 7. If I do not save frequently, the game freezes and Windows says "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has stopped working". 8. I restart the game and continue where I left off. It's quite annoying, and I've looked all over the internet for other solutions. At the recommendation of other sites, I have also tried extracting to my Desktop, and then dragging to style/themed. I have downloaded other sets as well. Some of them show up in the game, some do not. I have no idea why this happens. If you look at my thread (link in signature), in my latest post you'll see a goofy looking building designed with usable portions of the Main Street sets. I've now resorted to using roofs from the "colored walls" set that comes with the game to go with that building, and it looks tacky: Before. After. Any advice is helpful. I hope I explained well enough. Thank you for your continued help! -

^ Yeah, I know . I've been having problems loading the rest of shyguys Mainstreet sets, so I didn't have a roof at the time. For now, I've just recolored roof pieces from the "colored walls" set to match and they cover up the straw. -

August 1, 1969 3rd Season Hello again! Another month has come and gone, with a lot of changes going on at the park! This was the construction site shortly on July 15. Since then, we've installed a train ride to transport guests around our expanding park! The train ride will also encircle the new area of the park. A new building has also popped up near the main entrance! This restaurant serves our delicious homemade fried chicken. We've also covered El Furioso's queue and station with simple canopies, so as to keep the area as open-air as possible. More updates soon! And thanks for the overwhelming response! We love to hear from our valued customers. Also, expect an official announcement on the new expansion in early September. -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Thanks for the help a few posts back. Still having some small issues. The game freezes up unless I start to place a ride before I even open the scenery panel. Not too bad, but if anyone knows a way to fix this, that would be great. I downloaded shyguy's Main Street sets (all 8), but only 5, 6, 7, and 8 show up in the game. Any suggestions? Sorry for all the questions, I'm still relatively new to CS. Thanks! -

July 1, 1969 3rd Season Hello again, Just a quick update today. Since we really would like to have this new area open by next year, we have already started preparing for construction: Land clearing has begun. As you can see, the new area will almost double the size of the west side of the park. Short but steady lines is a good sign for everyone! Please be sure to leave your thoughts! We love hearing your opinions! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seriously though, I really like seeing posts not from me in this thread. June 1, 1969 3rd Season Hello, Welcome back to Boulder Leisure Park! We've had a lot going on here recently, and have just opened for our third season. Let me recap what you missed over the winter months: -Mine Train was determined to costly to repair after other issues were found. The ride was demolished during the offseason and has been scrapped. -We've made slight changes to the park layout, but nothing too confusing to the guests. We've also revamped all pathways with more appropriate brick pavers. -New for 1969 is El Furioso, our first wooden roller coaster. This out and back design has great airtime, and guests already seem to love it! - We hit record attendance this year for Opening Day! We've really come a long way since our first season only 2 years ago. Anyway, I've managed to take a few shots of the new-and-improved Boulder Leisure Park for you: The first guests trickle in. An overview of the park, a few layout changes are clearly visible. El Furioso gives its first ride! The Main Midway looks terrific with its new brick pavers. A view of the east side of the park. And the west side. A park-approved POV shot of El Furioso Hands Up! A second phase of Boulder Leisure Park is also set to open by next year. This will include a separate childrens' area and other rides that will be announced in the future. Stay tuned! Come out and check out the changes! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Hey TPR, Boulder Leisure Park is done and ready to be presented, but due to some unexpected travel this weekend, I have not yet had time to post an update. I will put up pictures of the new-and-improved Boulder Leisure Park soon! Thanks for your understanding. gci2011 -
I liked the Britney episode better than Cheesus. Although Cheesus had a much better story line, I had really been hoping to see Kurt do Bridge Over Troubled Water. Mercedes was my second choice, but I thought the song was barely recognizable! Anyway, I think the Britney episode was much more exciting than Cheesus, and while I think they did a fairly good job of dealing with religious issues, I really wish they would stop giving themes to each episode. The first Madonna was good. Then Gaga, Journey, Britney, a Religion episode (which isn't quite the same, but a theme nonetheless), and now a rumored second Madonna. Regardless, its a good show. I just don't think every episode should have a gimmick.

I just downloaded Shyguy's Main Street Sets and I put them in Style/Themed. They do show up in the game, but when I try to click on an object to place it in the game, the game freezes up and the annoying music starts playing really loudly. Then I have to go to task manager and close the program. Any idea why it does this or how to fix it?
