Boulder Leisure Park [RCT3]
gci2011 replied to gci2011's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
June, 1977 11th Season Hello friends, It is on a sad note that I must inform you that I will be leaving Boulder Leisure Park at the end of the season. I have been offered a high level position elsewhere in the amusement industry, and I could not turn it down. Unfortunately, this means that my time in Boulder is coming to an end. I will surely miss the park - I've watched it grow from a small, family park to a large thrill park with cutting-edge technology. I have loved being a part of this park, but it is time for me to move on. Without further ado, I have some pictures for you: This is one of the nicest restaurants in the park - a steakhouse! Lakeside Dipper's exit ramp sure is strange! This restaurant is great for people who want food quick! Speaking from experience, Boulder Tower has the slowest-moving line in the park. Boston Tea Party will keep its patriotic moniker, so I am told. The Breeze never gets much attention, but it sure is a fun ride! Stay tuned for more updates, -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

Millennium Force Promo Help
gci2011 replied to HappyEisentrout's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
.... (continuing where you left off, best as I can tell) "A shadowy construct, fathomed by scientists that their wits' end of the quest of the answer to everything. Beyond time, beyond space, beyond gravity, beyond dimensions we understand, a natural force simply known as the 'Millennium Force'. Somewhere, racing along the edge of the time-space continuum in the universe as we know it. It's out there. Millennium Force The future is riding on it." I think there was something else before "a shadowy construct", but I couldn't make it out. There's more in the clip, but it was pretty clear so I didn't bother with it. Hope this helps! -

June, 1977 11th Season Hello again, Just a few more pictures from around the park. I'll have a construction update next time, as we've just begun preparing for next year. I know its early, but it'll take some time. Lakeside Dipper is the most popular woodie in the park now. We should really do something about this dead end... I've heard that Mad Mouse's station and queue are going to get an overhaul soon. Sunburst is definitely a hit! El Furioso has seen a significant decline in attendance; it has gotten rougher over the years. Stay tuned for more updates! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

I agree, but the lag would be awful. Maybe on a future park... Glad you like the park! -

^Just thought it looked better. ------------------------------------------------------ June, 1977 11th Season Hello friends! Not much to say, but I got a few more pictures today. The park sure is looking good, I must say! Rocky Rumbler's second drop sure looks fun! I've also heard that they're looking at extending the train for next year - we'll have to wait and find out. Roundup is definitely one of the craziest rides in the park! Weeeeeeeeeee! The also added these trees along one of the back pathways - they sure help to break up the pavement! I'll be back with another update soon; stay tuned! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

May, 1977 11th Season Hello again, I've got a ton of great pictures of the park today, Sunburst in particular. Take a look! Loading the first train of the day. The park must not be too busy yet! Up the front spike! This new refreshment center was also added. We also added this small arcade. The entire back half of the park was related over the offseason. This area sure looks different! I'll be back with another update soon. Until then, have a great day! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

^Thanks! About the supports, it looks like I took this picture before I added the other loop support! I did try the arched loop support, but it stuck out to the side too much and I didn't like how it looked. I also tried the one in shyguy's circus set, but it didn't look quite right either. I went with this - I'll revisit the arch supports, but I may not switch. Thanks for the suggestion though! -

We're back for our 11th season, and this year we're thrilled to debut Sunburst, our first looping coaster. Welcome back: This area sure looks different with Sunburst! First run of the seson! This area sure looks good with the new paved walkways. Grand Wheel sure has a long line! Modern Motorcars is doing great as well. More next time... The American Bicentennial September 1976, 10th Season Hello again, It's once again the end of the season for Boulder Leisure Park. Hard to believe that 10 years ago we were just wrapping up our first season. I managed to get a few photos of the last day for you: Grand Wheel was full almost all day! Ecstatic Elephants is still one my personal favorite rides in the park. I've been told that this area will be repaved for next season. This area will also be repaved. Bumpers looks as good as ever. Mad Mouse was really running great this year! This area already looks nothing like it once did - imagine what it'll look like next year with Sunburst! Have a great off-season! We'll see you next year! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

The American Bicentennial September 1976, 10th Season Hello again, Boulder Leisure Park is winding down for the season - just one month left! Be sure to come and get in one last visit to the park if you can. I've been flooded with work since the announcement of Sunburst, so it wasn't until very late that I was able to get these shots: Washington's Whirl has been doing well all season - everybody seems to love it! Rocky Rumbler prepares to give one last ride for the night. Guests love Rocky Rumbler's crazy twisting drop! Lakeside Dipper is also doing great! Everyone seems to get fooled by the pre-drop! All of the guests have cleared out by now, but El Furioso is still all lit up. Have a great night! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -

The American Bicentennial August 1976, 10th Season Hello Boulder! Have you heard about our big announcement? We can't wait for Sunburst to open next year, so I've got a construction picture for you. Hopefully this one can help you compare with the concept art: Anyway, I managed to get a few more pictures around the park today. It was getting late by the time I got out of the office, but I ended up with some really cool night shots: Boulder Railway is still popular - its one of the most-ridden rides in the park! It started to get dark quickly. At least Mad Mouse is all lit up! Guests always try to squeeze in one last ride before it's time to head out for the night. I'll be back soon with another update. Have a great day! -Robert Clarke PR Manager Boulder Leisure Park -
