  1. I bought a Keurig about a year ago, which I still use. The K-cups price has gotten outrageous though, but luckily where I work I can stack some discounts and stock up when I can get 18 ct. boxes for about 6 bucks. If I don't use it for a few days though, I always replace the water/let it run through once, otherwise I feel like it tastes plastic-y. I loveeeee espresso based drinks. I bought a nice stainless steel Italian espresso pot (like $20 bucks on amazon, a worthwhile investment), and got a hand crank ceramic burr grinder, so now I can freshly grind my Costa Rican or Kona beans to an espresso grind, and make awesome lattes and cappuccinos. As far as chains, I tend to go to Tim Horton's a lot because it's more of a sit-in place, although I've found I much prefer Dunkin Donut's coffee. I like mochas quite a bit, but not big fancy chocolate syrup/whipped cream ones. I got this amazing one from a cart in London, that was super smooth and had a perfect and not too strong bitter-sweet chocolate taste. All this talk has me ready for some espresso! Mmmm.
  2. Thanks for the update, Chuck! It's looking better all the time. Can't wait for East Coast Bash!
  3. Glad to hear! Hoping to make it to KI as well.
  4. That 230 foot Booster sounds terrifying. Skycrapers are really the only type of ride that always scare me, and when our Fabbri Booster at a Belgian fair went into "hyper speed" I thought my legs were going to explode. 230 feet? Buhhhh.
  5. I'm really looking forward to this option, and being able to ride Maverick more than once or twice in a visit. And I like the merge point idea rather than only having certain seating options. I just hope they have workers stationed at the merge points. I remember a few of them at LaRonde not having any employees, and it was pretty awkward deciding who looked nice enough to just butt in front of.
  6. All set to go, I'll be riding at Canada's Wonderland! http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/nick-cramer-1/CanadasWonderland
  7. Don't see any reason for not being there! Can't wait
  8. ^Yes, there's a bar, the lap bars will swing up and over the riders. Similar to Pilgrim's Plunge or Blue Fire lap bars.
  9. The definition of coaster porn.
  10. Nice! All the more reason to try to make it there this year.
  11. This ride, especially with lapbars and floorless seats, is going to be nuts. Geforce of the states?
  12. Ahh! After missing out in 2010 due to the incident, this is amazing! Can't wait to finally get the Xcelerator credit many times over.
  13. Almost done! It's such a gorgeous ride. I can't wait to see how the speed plays into some of the lesser-intense looking elements. Looks like it'll be a really fun and re-rideable ride.
  14. It's so sad to hear a story like this, when you have the captain of the ship tripping into a life boat and speeding away in a taxi.
  15. My initial idea of compensation for your cruise ship literally sinking would be free cruises for life. Not a 30% off coupon.
  16. Made it under the wire! 1) Fav. Steel- Expedition GeForce 2) Boulder Dash 3) El Toro 85) Twisted Twins (S) 86) Dragon Coaster 87) Hoosier Hurricane
  17. ^Ahhhh true. They must've just flipped that. CONFUSION BE GONE
  18. On CW's website, passholder preview night is listed as Friday May 4th starting at 6pm. And opening day is Sunday May 6th.
  19. I really like the whole "look" of both designs. Looking forward to seeing the new front page!
  20. ^I think I saw it turned back on once last year and went "Oooh, improvements!" But it didn't last. I believe there was also some mist at the bottom of ROS's first drop when that opened.
  21. I've come across this coaster once or twice while clicking the "random roller coaster" button on RCDB. I don't think I realized it was a Schwarzkopf, but always thought the I-beam supports looked interesting. Glad to see it's still around!
  22. If there is a certain major/special/unique attraction that is the major reason for being wherever you're at, that usually deems waiting whatever necessary. If I've done everything else and want a new credit that isn't just a wild mouse or boring clone, I'd wait a while for that as well. Is this where I post who I'd have a threesome with?
  23. Wow, that drop looks so huge for a Zierer coaster. I'm definitely looking forward to riding.
  24. Dang, if it wasn't so chilly during my visit this past summer I would've tried those flumes. They looked pretty cool. Very curious to see what will come from this.
