  1. I think these restraints are fine. Sure, plain T-bars are cool, but if these will allow more people to ride and save even one person from being thrown out, then they're worth it. I don't see how padded flexible straps are going to be a huge inconvenience. I'd prefer the feeling of security.
  2. And the one at Darien is a LOT better than that crap at SF America! And it's true, trackwork on Predator has given it a somewhat enjoyable front seat ride! Regarding this slide stuff, a flow rider sounds cool. I usually skip the water stuff, but this and another slide complex might make it all worthwhile.
  3. This is going to be a horrible incentive for me to live out of my car and travel the country/world. MUST USE ALL PARK DISCOUNTS
  4. Sounds great, I'm excited! The perks are incredible, and you guys definitely deserve some financial support for the upkeep of the site. And LANYARDS, NEAT. Maybe I can even hang it out of my pocket like the cool kids do.
  5. Very cool! Well I wasn't around then, I love seeing my home park in its earlier days. Thanks!
  6. This is excellent. Thank you SO much for everything. Now I'm all giddy, and can't wait until August.
  7. I didn't really follow along much with the whole process of changing over to the new system, and when I'd first looked at it I was a bit put off, but I tend to not like change for a lot of things. But it's grown on me quite a bit, and think overall it looks good and was well done.
  8. Wonder what your reaction would be if it was your mom, your sister, your wife or your daughter? Thank you, Bob. I'm glad there's some people in here that get it. Actually, he pretty much did imply that it was funny. And like Tyler said in the rest of his post, it's the conditions of the situation that are amusing, in terms of the guy. No, I don't think the man violating the woman is funny. I think it's funny that there's this douchebag guy, on a ride, who couldn't contain himself and had to grab a boob. I think that's funny, because the guy is that big of a douche. I'm laughing at him. I'm not that much of an ass.
  9. Could they do it purposely for integrity reasons? Rather than each piece having the same type of connection, it's mixed up to prevent specific wear. Could be totally wrong, it just seems logical.
  10. Blahh. I guess I don't care *too* much. But my visit here a few years ago was very enjoyable. And the shuttle loop was the best coaster there, and as it'll probably get scrapped, that's sucky.
  11. I love coffee. I greatly prefer iced over hot, and a little chocolate in there is nice. I love coffee Nips candies. Or any other coffee flavored thing. The best coffee I've had is some of the stuff we bought from a little family plantation in Kona, Hawai'i.
  12. Those are pretty. At Enchanted Forest up in Old Forge, there are two slides called "The Shadow", named because you can see the silhouette of the people going down them. But these are definitely more clear. I always thought actual clear slides would be neat, more from a rider's perspective, but someone brought up how dirty they'd get. These look nice.
  13. I noticed there wasn't anything listed, is there going to be any sort of add on for Spain?
  14. Wonder what your reaction would be if it was your mom, your sister, your wife or your daughter? More confused than angry. Don't get me wrong, I do think it's inappropriate, but I also think the idea of this being pushed as a horrible and traumatic story pointless and dumb. The guy's just a douche.
  15. Wow, the Japan trip looks incredible, and I may even be able to afford it! I'm leaning towards that, but otherwise, Spain looks great too.
  16. Hahahaha. If I was the woman I'd simply go on having that funny story of "remember that time I got my boob grabbed on that ride?" Sure it's creepy. But it's also stupid, and funny. And not worth being all over national news.
  17. Awesome news. So glad to see it's not just getting scrapped. When I rode this years ago it really got me, more so than any other towers I've been on. Dorney's a nice park with a balanced ride collection, this will only make it better.
  18. That looks pretty fun! Stone mountain is very cool, done both the cable car up/hike down and vice versa. What do they say? The horses nostril can fit a house? Or maybe a car. It's big.
  19. Interesting. Morey's is such a cool place. Even if their coasters are a bit meh, the flats make up for it.
  20. That looks amazing. I've always read it that people like coasters because they make you think you're risking your life. Well, most feel completely safe, so rides like this add a boost of excitement!
  21. Overall, I really like n7's. The only thing I don't like about this final version is the cartoon roller coaster/drop tower, I really preferred Kumba. rcrider's is really nice. Something about it is very TPR to me. Jds03. LOVE the colors in this one, however I understand how the picture could have printing issues (But it's so pretty!). The logo is great as well. I know that whatever the card becomes, I'll either love it or grow to love it. It's been really neat watching these designs be created, and will be even cooler when I have one in my wallet. -Nick
  22. When will Roller Coasters in the Raw Vol. 3 be in stock again? If I'm going to finish off my set, I might as well do it at once.
  23. OoOoOoOoh. This could be cool. I've sorta missed all the Looney Toons crap at Darien Lake, the park is pretty bland. As long as the park can get some proper care with the occasional upgrade, I'm happy. And, if they hurry up and do this, then I'll already be covered with my 2010 Six Flags pass. Thanks for the info!
  24. I used to be afraid of the high dive. So no, I haven't really cracked into the world of cliff diving, not to say I never will. I just never liked the hitting the water part. I'm also a nose plugger, which would be a no go if I were to do a higher jump. The coolest place I've seen it done, however, was at the southernmost tip of Hawai'i (Southernmost point of the US, as well), And that was maybe 60 feet into some nice blue water. There was an Indiana Jones-esque ladder hooked to the cliff to get back up.
